“Walking in you smelled the aroma, met with a smile and service to cater to your ever need. The BBQ, and Soul Food Cuisine choices were all we ‘d hoped they would be. Tender Turkey wings served over rice did not disappoint. The tenderness of the ribs/ brisket could be chewed by even the tenderness of one’s mouth. The potato salad was a perfect side that reminded me of a cookout on a summer day in July. Being able to interact with the staff, hear their passion on southern cooking and how life has treated them- is an example of what’s missing in our society- REAL CONVERSATION/CONNECTIONS. Many people came in, from different walks of life; yet they all yearned for good southern soul food. This is a great place to order, pull up a seat and feel at home.”

“Customer service was great. I called and ordered a king cake and it was ready for me to pick up the same day. I couldn’t choose between strawberry or cream cheese so I got 1/2 strawberry and 1/2 cream cheese. As for the cake itself, well I obviously couldn’t wait to take a picture before I had a piece. This will be my go to place for king cakes from now on.”

Everything tasted amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service made the experience even better. Gibby was our waitress and she was absolutely awesome! Super friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!!”

“My husband and I have been wanting to try out SweetD’s for a long time; we had an opportunity to get lunch there today! We were not disappointed!!! The food is fantastic. I got a chicken salad croissant, tomato basil soup, and a Keto chocolate chip cookie. My husband got the broccoli salad. It was all delicious! FYI: The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the establishment is very clean! In my personal opinion, you won’t be disappointed on any level! We will definitely be going back!”

“Lasyone's doesn't only have homsey charm and delicious food (they're fresh green beans that are battered in the kitchen are the bomb) they have great employees and customer service. I left my hat on the beach outside of the restaurant over a month ago.. I live in Shreveport so I had to call. I spoke with Shawn and hid it in the closet for me and I picked it up today! What's not to love!”

“I visited Marie's for the first time while in Natchitoches for the 2025 Folk Festival. It's not much to look at, but the burger I got was the best I've had in a long time! A hand-formed, well-seasoned patty with fresh toppings and a tasty bun made for great burger experience. I can't resist onion rings, so I ordered those, too. They were fried to non-greasy perfection: golden and crunchy. The folks who waited on me were great: friendly and helpful.I think this will become my #1 stop on future trips to Natchitoches.”
