Whenever Kate and her staff open their doors, it’s the best party in town. Wonderful place, wonderful music, wonderful people. Always a great evening.
It was taking an extremely long time to get my credit card back and he finally told me they were having trouble getting the charge to go through. Showed him on my phone where they had already charged me twice. He finally gave me back my card and said they never got it to work and assured me that the charges would not be processed and if it did to call them and they would fix it. THIS is the place for quintessential New Orleans music! Tonight's opener was Jenna McSwain -- excellent musician! And the main band: Mahogany Hall Jazz band with Tom Fischer -- excellent too! Why this place isn't packed every night is weird to me. Oh! and the wait staff is excellent! Waits took good care of me; he will take care of you. If you want authentic New Orleans music, come here!
