We really enjoyed their food. It tasted pretty authentic and made with that old Shanghai love. Disclaimer: I've yet to visit "The Shanghai" in China (if I do, I'll be sure to Yelp lol) but this place has me reminiscing over the old Shanghai restaurant back in Palm Beach that we enjoyed when I was a kiddo. I never review stuff. That said, I live a few blocks from here and order all the time. The food's always great, but tonight after a 50+ hour work week I ordered online for pickup then promptly fell asleep. Over an hour later, I woke up and called to make sure it was still there (I hadn't paid yet). Not only was the lady nice after I had them make a ticket then didn't show up to get it, the food was warm and delicious! Probably my favorite Chinese take out spot in New Orleans. I've eaten both in the restaurant (it's small and they only have maybe 3-4 tables) and also through Uber eats. The price is good (especially lunch and dinner specials) and so is the food. They are also really good about following and accommodating dietary restrictions.
