There are some amazing places in the city with good food and wonderful customer service. This is NOT one of those places.
The food was good however, half of our table didn’t receive our orders. Things were consistently missing and/or were rung up incorrectly. We had to ask about 5x for water to be brought to the table. This was the worst service I’ve experienced in a VERY long time. I would not recommend nor will I be back — EVER. Also, the owners husband is VERY unprofessional and disrespectful. He started yelling at a member of our party because she asked for water again (a 6th time).
Excellent food and service. Staff is amazing. They were all very pleasant and on point during this past Essence Festival weekend. Put yourself on the waitlist via Yelp and don’t go until your number gets near. This restaurant is in high demand so there will be a long wait. Well worth it!
