Delicious hamburgers and they do baked potatoes better than anyone else. And when you top your baked potato with green onions, you are truly a southern restaurant and definitely on my list of favorite restaurants. Love the stmosphere of nautical decor, wood and rope decor and trim, and low lighting.
Port of Call is our family's favorite spot, hands down. It's canonical New Orleans if you ask me, that dark cozy little bar and restaurant feel with the big baked potatoes and burgers everybody talks about. We've been going for years and it never gets old, it's just one of those places that feels like home every time we walk in. There's always a line but it's worth the wait, and honestly waiting outside is kind of part of the experience. If you want...
Got the cheese burger 🍔 it was really nice and juicy. The baked potato was pretty tasty, had the sour cream and chives toppings. The bartender made my drink pretty stiff which was pretty good. The atmosphere was kinda somberish with laughing and loud chatting in the background. But kinda cool in its own unique way.
