When it comes to Chicken shawarma, that was rocking I have never tasted Chicken shawarma like that before, I got addicted, I do A/C work. “Great place for breakfast, menu has changed some what, less omelet selection, grits are a little runner spread out onto the plate looks like more but less. I ordered fish and grits w/eggs. Instead waiter brought me a bowl shrimp and grits with eggs on the side. I ask where is the fish she said oh! Yes came back with the fish. “The second my husband and I walked in this past Sunday, we were greeted. Walking in to a welcoming environment is a feeling that makes you feel like family. They had great customer service, were friendly, and the food was amazing. They definitely had the package deal. Anybody can serve food, but being able to serve food, have good customer service, and have the food to taste great is hard to come across. I can see them going far. This restaurant future is very bright.“

“It's hard to believe as many times as have been to New Orleans that I have never been to this restaurant. The food was really really good. So good that when I started eating I wanted to keep eating. I had to slow down! I had the pulled pork fajitas which were very very good. This included freshly made corn tortillas which were delicious. Portion was extremely generous and I could only finish half of it. Took the rest back to the hotel and had it the following day. The orange lime margarita was very good as well. Very tasty with just enough tequila in it. Very generous portions. Very delicious food. Great service. What more could you ask for? Definitely give them a try!“

We ordered The Meats, SO good. I'm a huge fan of thin sliced pizza, and this one was one of the best I've tasted. It was thin but not too thin, and the crust was really crispy. I loved it. All the ingredients were fresh. Good stuff 👍“

“I enjoyed my visit to Chill Out Cafe! I had a bowl of their Tom Kha and I enjoyed it. I had never seen tomatoes or carrots in this dish from any other Thai restaurant before, but I enjoyed the flavors of this addition. The calamari was deliciously crunchy. Our whole table ordered bubble tea but unfortunately they did not have enough boba left, as it was the end of the day. The thai tea and coffee was delicious regardless. I would come here again, and I hope to try their breakfast soon!“

“OMG!!! I came to this place on a whim this morning. This is the best food I have had from a cafe joint in a very long time. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese with a Salad and it was DIVINE! Well cooked, nicely seasoned. A pleasant Saturday surprised. I highly recommend this small cafe on St. Claude, located a block from Fredrick Douglass High School. Oh, and the vibes are heavenly.
