The maitre de and bar staff were wonderful, paying a lot of attention to the experience of the patrons. The food was wonderful, the vibe relaxed but refined, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Everyone else got fish so I figured why not try fish at. a steak house just for a change. The redfish was superb and I've had a lot of redfish because I live in New Orleans.“

“Our first time dining there and they didn’t disappoint! The service was perfect from the moment we walked in. The waiter was at the table to greet us immediately and promptly took our drink order. They started us off with a complimentary meatball served with a basket of garlic bread and they even put a candle in my mother’s as we were celebrating her 87th birthday. We ordered several appetizers including the crab cakes which were the best I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio was so good we ordered it a second time and the entrees were equally as delicious. After the meal they brought out a red velvet brownie with a candle in it for my mother and the other tables in our seating area joined us in singing happy birthday to her. She was more than thrilled! We ordered a few desserts to share and the tiramisu was fabulous, in fact it was so good we ordered a second! Needless to say this was a spectacular dining experience.“

“We were in search of a nice dinner to celebrate our engagement and after a terrible experience at Chemir a la Mer the night prior, we decided to give Dickie Brennan's a shot. I am so thankfull we were able to secure a reservation...they filled up very quickly. We were greeted with congratulations and even had a ballon at our table. Deja was so, so friendly and attentive. Our steaks were cooked just as we requested and so delicious! The sides werr just as great. We look forward to donong here again the next time we are in New Orleans and we will highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans. Thank you for such a great celebration dinner!“

“It looked a little shabby from the street, but once we walked in it was homey and cozy. The waiter was so friendly and joked around too, they made us feel at home. The food was amazing. The steak was perfect and the crab cakes were the best we had in New Orleans. The chef came out too, and he was so nice also. It felt like a neighborhood restaurant, not super touristy like most in the area.“

“I had a phenomenal experience. Every aspect of my experience was perfect. The service from every employee was wonderful. We were told we had to wait because the restaurant was at full capacity. We were thanked for our patience. Langston was our server, he couldn't have been better. He was very polite , efficient, and friendly. Took care of every single detail including holding the main course to make sure we finished our appetizers. The food was really good as well. Ruth Chris never disappoints. I strongly recommend coming here.“
