“Our first time dining there and they didn’t disappoint! The service was perfect from the moment we walked in. The waiter was at the table to greet us immediately and promptly took our drink order. They started us off with a complimentary meatball served with a basket of garlic bread and they even put a candle in my mother’s as we were celebrating her 87th birthday. We ordered several appetizers including the crab cakes which were the best I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio was so good we ordered it a second time and the entrees were equally as delicious. After the meal they brought out a red velvet brownie with a candle in it for my mother and the other tables in our seating area joined us in singing happy birthday to her. She was more than thrilled! We ordered a few desserts to share and the tiramisu was fabulous, in fact it was so good we ordered a second! Needless to say this was a spectacular dining experience.“

“We dined here the second evening after the restaurant's reopening on Magazine St. The decor provides for a romantic setting with a well appointed bricked interior. Our meal was flawless as was the service (Susan). Recommend the shellfish bisque and broiled oysters (Bon Ton oysters on the menu). This will be a regular stop for future New Orleans dining.“

“We were in search of a nice dinner to celebrate our engagement and after a terrible experience at Chemir a la Mer the night prior, we decided to give Dickie Brennan's a shot. I am so thankfull we were able to secure a reservation...they filled up very quickly. We were greeted with congratulations and even had a ballon at our table. Deja was so, so friendly and attentive. Our steaks were cooked just as we requested and so delicious! The sides werr just as great. We look forward to donong here again the next time we are in New Orleans and we will highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans. Thank you for such a great celebration dinner!“

Ruth's has annual wine and or champagne dinners scheduled and I have been to at least 30 of these over the years past. This was absolutely the best dinner event I have attended! The chef and the staff knocked this one out of the park!!“
