“Phenomenal food and even better service. The food is like the rich comfort food of old school hunting club restaurants but elevated/updated and more chic. The beef Wellington was excellent. The hostess, bartender and Chris, our server were all wonderful- we felt so taken care of and both the bartender and our server had a very extensive knowledge of the drink and food menu and helped us find exactly what we were in the mood for. Atmosphere was really fun and cozy too. Be sure to stop by the lux totally mirrored bathroom in the back. HIGHLY recommend.“

“While I’ll aways recommend, tonight definitely was a damper on what used to hold a top reputation for years for us. We went for our 17th anniversary (just 2 people). And I cannot tell you how many times we kinda got lost in the system and the service was soooo slow! They comp a drink but to be honest- 2 hours for a meal for 2 people is just long. Chocolate dessert seemed to be shrinking in size as well. For a $200 meal for 2, I personally wouldn’t have wanted to repeat the night again. Steak was okay but chewy and my husband’s more expensive steak, lacked flavor. I love ya La Boca but tonight will probably make us wait a bit to return.“

“Our first time dining there and they didn’t disappoint! The service was perfect from the moment we walked in. The waiter was at the table to greet us immediately and promptly took our drink order. They started us off with a complimentary meatball served with a basket of garlic bread and they even put a candle in my mother’s as we were celebrating her 87th birthday. We ordered several appetizers including the crab cakes which were the best I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio was so good we ordered it a second time and the entrees were equally as delicious. After the meal they brought out a red velvet brownie with a candle in it for my mother and the other tables in our seating area joined us in singing happy birthday to her. She was more than thrilled! We ordered a few desserts to share and the tiramisu was fabulous, in fact it was so good we ordered a second! Needless to say this was a spectacular dining experience.“

“We were in search of a nice dinner to celebrate our engagement and after a terrible experience at Chemir a la Mer the night prior, we decided to give Dickie Brennan's a shot. I am so thankfull we were able to secure a reservation...they filled up very quickly. We were greeted with congratulations and even had a ballon at our table. Deja was so, so friendly and attentive. Our steaks were cooked just as we requested and so delicious! The sides werr just as great. We look forward to donong here again the next time we are in New Orleans and we will highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans. Thank you for such a great celebration dinner!“

“It looked a little shabby from the street, but once we walked in it was homey and cozy. The waiter was so friendly and joked around too, they made us feel at home. The food was amazing. The steak was perfect and the crab cakes were the best we had in New Orleans. The chef came out too, and he was so nice also. It felt like a neighborhood restaurant, not super touristy like most in the area.“

“Our waiter paid us no attention during our night out. After we was seated we waited near twenty minutes before the waiter brought us water. Finally he came to take our order and he seemed like everything was going to work out but that wasn't the case. We waited another 15-20 minutes for our food and eventually another wait brought out our food along with an appetizer indicating that they forgot to bring it out before the main dish. We did not get a water refill and the waiter spent more time catering to other guess. After a managed pass by and ask us how was everything that when we told him that our waiter never came to check on us and that we needed water. He brought us some water then I assumed that we went to talk to the waiter because the communication got worse. We had to go to the from to ask for a check and the host took us to find the waiter so we could check out and leave. Once he brought the check he gave it to me as he was walking by causing me to drop the pen. He picked it up and handed it to me but I felt it was intentional. It took 10 minutes for him to come back the get my payment and another 5 minutes to bring it back all awhile catering to other guess needs but ours. I made sure to leave a poor service message on the ticket. I talked to the manager once again before we left and he took care of the check but the damage was already done. My wife and I traveled 3.5 hrs for date night at Ruth Chris and it was a disaster. This was the worse Ruth Chris experience. This guy needs to be fired.“
