“The food for the majority of times we have gone is good, sometimes it tastes off but the best time to go is for lunch when food is fresh.I don't always like the music choice but they keep the volume low enough that if in conversation you can just ignore it.The employees are very sweet and always smile when they greet or give a farewell to customers. The lady that works at the cash register remembers my family so when we come in about once or twice a month she is happy to welcome us in.“

“We was out touring the plantation homes and came across this gem. If your out and looking for something to eat in St. Francisville don’t pass this up. We decided to try Mexican food and it did not disappoint at all. The salsa was just perfect not to spicy or mild just right. I got the taco plate which was 3 stuffed tacos with lots of rice and beans all under $10.00 Hubby got the burrito supreme it came with a bed of lettuce sour cream, burrito, beans and rice all under $13.00. Service was great and on their toes. This was our first time and we will be making a trip back to try something different on the menu.

“It was like taking a step back in time. I am confident that I was at Buche's 55 summers ago enjoying a burger and fries and I was there today without Rod Serling in Twilight Zone enjoying the same. The floors, walls and ceiling are still the same. Same pictures are hanging depicting a simpler time. Mrs. Buche wasn't tending bar or flipping burgers and Mr.Willie was not in his rocker in the corner behind the bar, but I nodded hello anyway. It was a great deal then and the food is still a bargain - comparing quality and quantity versus price. The visit brought back old memories of good times and good friends.“

“Great place to hang out, great view, volleyball net and sand court. Nice floating dock for accessing from water and docking boat. Or using boat ramp.

Boat launch is a pay to use ramp. I think it’s $5. But worth it. If I’m going to south side of lake I use this ramp, if going to north side of the lake, I use the ramp in town. It’s worth the $5 to use the ramp, especially with the floating dock. It’s very nice to use. Also they have non ethanol premium 93 octane fuel on the water. Which is definitely the best thing to use in your boat. Definitely worth checking out this place.

Parking: Parking for tow vehicle with boat trailer. Costs to use boat ramp but worth it, since they have a nice floating dock to use for parking to visit from water or simply to use boat ramp.“
