“I went to try the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. I was not disappointed, the biscuits were tender and flakey. The gravy had a slight cajun kick to it but very tasty!

“The best restaurant in Plaquemine hands down. I was working in Plaquemine for a year i happened to run across this hidden gem. As a female travel alone I felt safe going in there by myself. It's a great atmosphere. The bartenders are awesome. The local are super friendly. The owner a great guy and wonderful cook. Must try out steak night. It does have a touch tones jukebox so you can pick out your own music while your eating or drinking. If your in Plaquemine go check it out.”

“My friends and I were driving around looking for a good spot to eat when Google suggested this little Chinese takeout place. We decided to give it a try and ordered the Pu Pu Platter — and wow, it was amazing! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and we all really enjoyed it. Definitely worth the stop!”

“Another amazing take-away/delivery. Been a customer since it opened. Personally rate this as the best pizzas in Jersey. I always get lovely pizzas from Hot Stuff. Tonight's was stunning. Arrived in only half an hour, nice and hot. I virtually inhaled the thing, hardly any chewing hahaha And they have a great range of side dishes and chippy style food as well and at great prices. “The lady working now is super nice & her pizzas are jamming, especially the taco. Their fountain machine is down so bring a drink. The girl working at night a few months go wasn't good. She would lock the door & not answer the phone a little after six & dodge orders. This was after earlier in the day assuring me I could place an order up until 6:40 pm. I couldn't get her on the phone at 6:20 so I drove over (I live a few blocks away), the door was locked & I called from my car & watched her just sitting there & purposely ignoring the phone. But the lady there now is great!”

“Perfect local eatery! We ate here 2 of the 4 days we stayed in the area. Both times we came in, we could see the local folks enjoying their meal and friends, and atmosphere. We were made to feel like family too. We had shrimp and crawfish boils, étouffée, stuffed crab, and soft shell crab and it was all so good. It was southern comfort food, local good food, small business, great atmosphere. I get a little aggravated at northern people saying their crawfish/shrimp/crab were not done because they couldn't dissect it and eat it as fast as the local folk. Peeling and eating the shelled food takes practice. If they never did it and can't it's operator error, not the crustaceans or restaurants fault, LOL. As a northerner we had to get lessons ourselves and we are still C+ peelers.....I would recommend this local business. If it takes some time to get in - it's because they are a really good place to eat. Give them a try, you won't regret if you have the right attitude.”
