“The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. Kind of food you travel a bit to get to. I’ll put up with the negatives if that’s indicative of the rest of their menu.“

“I was on the road so I looked for a new place or something local, I ended up here at City Roots and I dig the vibes.
Seems great for remote work, quiet music, low noise when the roaster isn’t on.
I was greeted promptly and I ordered the Espresso Cielo. Drink was hand crafted and really tasty.
There’s inside and outside seating. Inside holds about 30 people. Free WiFi , food, and craft beer round out the menu.
The only gripe was not finding it. From the road there is a lot for the electric depot. The facade of the building just looks like an office. You have to walk around the back.“

“Excellent atmosphere. Excellent service. The food was AMAZING! It was a very busy mid morning, but worth every minute. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit is now my favorite, with a side of chocolate chip pancakes! Can’t wait to go back!“

“what a find in a small cafe!! handmade hamburger, add cheese & onion to fully dressed - outstanding. homemade, HUGE onion rings. fantastic. steak-adilla and sweet potato fries - enough for 2. outstanding service. wish opened on weekends!!“
