“Been there once before while on a motorcycle ride with my boyfriend, didnt get to really meet anyone at that time. Went yesterday afternoon (02/27/19.) Met two of the nicest, coolest, funniest chicks, whom just happened to have been the most awesome bartender's this side of Raceland. They werent just buttering up for tips, they were truly genuine. This place has a great local atmosphere, with downhome feel, like you've been going there for much of your adult life, or that you grew up with the locals. Kudos to Ms. Christina and Ms. Meghan! (Sorry ladies, if i misspelled your names.) This is a most visit if you're out and about in the Raceland or surrounding areas!”

“My wife and I visit PJ’s Coffee in Raceland often. We love the variety of the menu items, clean facilities and the experienced and friendly staff! They make everyone feel welcome! Our favorite menu items are the Vanilla Latte with the blueberry muffins! Always a hit with us!”

“I placed a last minute catering order online for a friend whose father passed. I was over an hour away but wanted to send food. I called the location and spoke with Toya. She was so sweet and helpful, she was able to get my order ready sooner than the time allowed online and get everything taken care of for my friend to pick up for her family to have food when people were coming over to pay their respects. I can't thank Toya enough for taking time out to help me put a smile on my friend's face in this hard time. Thanks so much, Toya!”

I ordered the honey-lemon chicken with corn grits, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and wonderfully balanced. The atmosphere has that “great little place” feel: cozy, welcoming, and relaxed. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, stopping by just the right amount to make sure you have everything you need without ever feeling rushed. Fabulous food, warm service, and a comfortable setting make 531 Liberty Cafe a must-visit.”

“We stopped in from Indiana to buy oysters for my wife. She bought a half gallon of fresh oysters and noticed the price of the shrimp and so we purchased 10 pounds of shrimp. Later that evening she ate the entire half gallon of oysters with some sauce she had made in Indiana and brought for that purpose. There must have been 80 oysters that half gallon. We are now home and the shrimp. were still fresh frozen and they look very good thank you tothe proprietor of Wine Island seafood.”

“We had Saturday afternoon lunch and it was great! Our server Rhett was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with us, as first time guests. The Mahi-mahi was fabulous, the catfish was the best we’ve ever had and the onion sticks are superb. To top it off, we tried the Peanut Butter pie and were quite impressed! This restaurant is worth the trip to Des Allemands, LA!”
