“They have a variety of king cakes that are absolutely wonderful and they make them daily in house. I grabbed a loaf of bread that was still warm....OMG if you love warm bread, theirs is phenomenal! They have plain, turtle cheesecake, funky monkey, raspberry cream cheese and other varieties of king cakes. Best I have tried. You can also get pastries and pieces of king cake to go. The bakery is wonderful. The picture is the funky monkey king cake. Yummo!!“

“Great donuts!The sign out front needs some bulbs replaced so it's completely legible from both sides. Just a constructive critique, nothing more. The 5th star would've been earned if the donuts were indeed Hot, as the sign advertised. Friendly staff and a large selection of donuts and other foods, including burgers and such. Stop in. Earlier in the day might get you some that are hot.“

“I live in Thibodaux, but my wife works by the east side. So I never really thought of the place to go bc of the hours. Until a couple of weeks ago, my wife was like hey surprise me for breakfast for her at her work. So I was like hey let me check out NY bagel. When I walked in, I was like, dang, this place is nice!!!! I looked over all the menu and bagels. I was not expecting the variety of all the food. I got my wife the French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese. She loved it. I told the cashier that I really wanted to bring my daughter bc she loves new places and new foods. So I was able to bring her on Thursday. She got the pizza bagel and I got my wife rainbow bagel and honey almond cream cheese. Both were a hit! I am so glad I found yall bc the place was amazing. The cashier was nice, and the ppl in the back were very fast and courteous. Thank yall for what yall do!!!“

“Our appointment with Melanie was friendly and encouraging. We wanted our cake design to be custom but simple even though there would be elements of elaborate design. We were not disappointed. Our wedding guests marveled at how the cake was artistically detailed. Its presentation was spot on. And the color match perfect !Then there was the flavor. A frosting that was creamy, fillings that were full of flavor (lemon and coconut) and cake that was light, fresh and tasty. There was little cleanup at the end of our reception, because everyone in attendance wanted a share of the cake to take home.Thank you Melanie and Caro’s Cakes for contributing to our memories of one of the most wonderful days in our lives.“
