“Jambalaya, white beans, Cole slaw. The white beans were Great Northern beans and were pretty bland. Good cole slaw and very good chicken and sausage jambalaya. Order at counter and take a number. Was busy when I was there but the order came up quickly. Big open seating area not fancy but plenty of room for large parties and I ate alone at a small table for two. I noticed that they offered lunch specials.“

“On our way back to Texas after a weekend in New Orleans we stopped at Don’s Seafood for lunch and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everything was perfect. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. Our server, Beth, was undoubtedly the best. She was super personable but genuine. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. The food was amazing. Truly the best Seafood we have ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and came out quickly. The icing one the cake, I have Celiacs Disease and there were several options to choose from. Cannot wait to have a reason to go back to Louisiana to stop at Don’s again.“

“My family held a surprise 60th birthday party for me today here at Philay’s! Jamie, our server was the absolute best!! Her and the fellow servers made sure we were taken care of 100% all the time!!!! The food was amazing!!! This was my first time here and I can tell you it won’t be the last!!!
