“Don't recommend🚩🚩 Clearly the door states that they are open til 8pm Monday-Saturday. The time was 6:50pm on a Tuesday. The doors were locked, as I noticed one of the workers cleaning tables:I knocked to ask what was going on(beings I as well work with the public )...I was completely ignored. FASLE ADVERTISMENT & POOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS. 👎😔“

“We have been here many times, and not once have we been disappointed. The service is great! The food is good also. There are a variety of items available on the menu. This is one of my favorite places to go out and eat crawfish when it's in season.“

“We stopped in for lunch. We had the shrimp creole and the jambalaya. It was delicious. Our only complaint is that the potato salad was big chunks of potato and absolutely no taste. It was very white. You can definitely tell it wasn’t made by a creole or Cajun.“

“Outstanding in all aspects! We got to town a little late & stopped in just for a lite bite & drinks. The oysters, black and blue tips & wine were so wonderful we returned after business the next night to try more. Round 2 included the Feta Whipped Brussels, Creole French dip & Duck + Butter beans. Nonetheless, I felt this restaurant deserves a good review, considering the wonderful service, the owner helped us newcomers decide what we might like. Try for yourself!“

“We used The Jambalaya Shoppe for our sorority Parents Weekend and absolutely will be having them cater again! Mrs. Fontenot, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the booking/delivering process and even made sure I was fed when I just came to drop the check off. Everyone raved about their jambalaya and I was extremely appreciative of how friendly Mrs. Fontenot and her entire staff was. Could not recommend enough!!! (The pastalaya and jambalaya are to die for!)“

“I arrived close to opening time and may have been the first customer. The options are diverse and the meat servings are generous. I had the jambalaya dinner with potato salad and white beans. The beans were very hot so let them cool which is slow! The place started filling up about 11:15.“

“So tonight I ordered again from Jasmines On the Bayou a Shrimp PoBoy and Seafood Platter. The Oysters were BURNT...all small FOUR of them...so crunchy a guest said the could have broken their teeth?!? I ordered the Shrimp PoBoy and only got a HALF! They said they would refund me, well DoorDash did...not sure why they did and not Jasmines. , waiting on an answer from them BURNT FOOD IS UNACCEPTABLE...there was no way they didn't know...really!!?? Especially if it can harm someone? What else was there was good, but it was disappointing it wasn't right, again! Oh, a good thing, the Shrimp and Corn soup had shrimp in it this time, just too creamy for my taste. Not used to cream in it. Another bad thing is Jasmines doesn't have an email to respond before posting a review. Enjoy the pics.“

The service was especially good and nice, everyone at this business cares about quality food at affordable prices and great service! “My family and I found this place randomly. We were craving crawfish, and we could smell how delicious it was while driving by. We stopped by chance and tried it out. It was absolutely what we were looking for! The sizes varied but were all filled with so much flavor. Great catches and the sides were also delicious. I highly recommend people stop and try these people out!“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu.
