“I was working in the area and decided to stop in for a quick breakfast. Not the world’s biggest bbq fan but figured I would try. I got the grab & geaux breakfast burrito. Used the house bbq sauce on top & Oh. My. Gosh. I was genuinely in awe. Chefs kiss. Take all of my money. Still in shock at how amazing. Not only was the food insanely good, but everyone was so friendly & it was a cute (and super clean) atmosphere. 10000000/10 recommend.“

“So my experience at City Pork on Highland was amazing. The interior was clean and modern. I believe our servers name was Aisha, and I was honestly having a bad day and she made me feel so much better with her kindness and hospitality. My meal was the Pork Belly Hoagie and I would rate that an 8.5/10. I think if it had some pickled onions on it to balance the richness from the pork belly, it would be even more amazing. Although it did come with a pickle, but I didn’t really care for that, it was too sweet for my liking so I give that a 4/10. I also had a side of coleslaw, and it had this peppery taste, which I actually enjoyed, while it was still sweet (but not too sweet) and crunchy. I’ll give that a 7.5/10. My husband got the smoked chicken and he would give that a 9.5/10, because he wanted even more because it was so good.“

“Best and most consistent BBQ in the Baton Rouge area. I got the 3 meat plate with ribs, sausage, and brisket with corn pudding and loaded potato salad as my sides. All absolutely delicious. I highly recommend you try it all. You should also get an order of their pulled pork fries. It is absolutely one of the best apps you can find anywhere. The only thing that would improve the fries would be a bit of queso.“
