We just ate at the Cub and it was such a wonderful dining experience! Cole was our server and did a remarkable job! The food was amazing. If you’ve never been you MUST go eat there! If you haven’t ate there in awhile GO! You will not be disappointed😋
Was very impressed with our experience! The food was divine - my filet was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. The house made pepper corn salad dressing and twice baked potato are must tries. Even the bread was unique and already oiled and seasoned. My favorite aspect was the intimate and romantic atmosphere. 10/10
Love love the Cub! The filet and marinated crab claws! The kickers are the bomb! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

The Cub | Lounge & Grille is one of Shreveport’s oldest landmarks, a historical hidden building built in the 1930s with a vintage feel. The restaurant has only 9 tables, making it very nostalgic. The food is excellent. The bread is amazing, and the steak is cooked perfect, very tender with great seasoning. The au gratin potatoes are fantastic. The wedge salad is just okay, but the peppercorn dressing is very good. The fried shrimp is served with a loved sauce. Dessert includes Key Lime pie which comes directly from Key West and is divine. Great wine choices are available. The service is always excellent. The ambience and nostalgia make for a great evening. Though it may be crowded sometimes, the bar is a favorite place to meet new people. The Cub is not your ordinary steakhouse; it offers a different experience.
