We eat Chinese a lot, but our precious favorite place of 20+ years became kinda like “different” 🤔😢 leaving us and our money searching for a new favorite place. “First off, our server Kyoko was great ! Of course, we expected nothing less !

For those who do not know, they are back in their original location. They were at the Sonic next door for a time whilst they rebuilt. Both locations are like right next to each other, so it's easy enough to find if you've never been to the original location.

Food.... great, as well !! I had the shrimp fried rice. It is one of the best in town !
The Miso soup hits the spot ! Our drinks were refilled in a timely manner ( a small thing, yet the mark of good service).

My fave item is the Pink Lady roll. I think it's a roll ( I did not order this time as I was not very hungry).

The indoor is a wonderful, cozy atmosphere. Very much as I remember the original. Plenty of good seating and lotsa TVs if you want to watch sports. There is a bar you can sit at.

There is an cute outdoor patio.

The place is on Line Ave, right next to Chiante. There is plenty of parking. If not right up in front, there is a parking lot, too.

Wheel chair accessible. Handicap spaces right up front and easy to get in the restaurant.“

“We go several times a year, went on dec 4 for lunch. We had a waitress named Tanisha. If you go during the day, ask for her. She just marked her 20th year there. Absolutely best server we have ever dealt with. Very attentive, did not let our tea glasses ever run empty. The food was great and the entire staff was focused on customer service more than I have ever seen there.“

“I went to lunch today with my husband for my birthday. The cashier, Ms Ann, was an absolute ray of sunshine! First, she complimented me on how I was dressed, which was my normal work attire, and I had shared that today is my birthday. Miss and proceeded to wish me a happy birthday and call me a Queen! In my opinion, Ms. Ann should be the Jason’s Deli of Shreveport LA mascot! If she was the cashier, every time, I visited the deli, I would come in every single day! “This was my first visit to a Golden Chick and three people stood out for me. Andre’, Gail and LaNedra.
LaNedra greeted me at the door as she was going out to clean the parking lot of debris. Andre’ met me at the counter to answer my question about the menu and rang me up. Miss Gail handed me my items when they were ready and everyone was friendly and had big smiles on their faces. They made me feel welcome and appreciated and I hope you open another one in Shreveport closer to my home. This was a 20 minute drive from my home off Mansfield road but the food was great and the rolls were the surprising star of the meal. Keep up the good work!“

“Great time today at Cassandra’s we came in with 14 hungry guests and they got us seated and served very quickly. Staff was super nice and kept our drink refills coming. Food was 10/10 from the crawfish & catfish plate to the gator. Everything that our group ordered looked and smelled amazing! Bonus, Miss Cassandra herself came out to welcome us to the area and her delicious restaurant. Top notch“

“Just tried Marco’s Pizza for the first time. The staff was cool, and our pizza came surprisingly fast, still hot when we got home. Toppings, like bacon, ham, sausage, and pepperoni, were tasty, but the dough was kinda bland. Thinking of giving them another shot to try a different flavor though!“

“Chic fil a is so good always fresh but there is one guy that sometimes takes the orders in the morning.. he’s very dry and not friendly at all like the other workers. He just tries to get you out of line quicker, doesn’t even ask what type of protein you want in your breakfast bowl or burrito. He’s given me the wrong order twice. “Stopped by for lunch. The restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean, the employees were friendly, & the food was delivered faster than expected. Chicken was juicy & the crinkle fries were thick. The wings usually come with the lemon pepper on them but we requested the seasoning seperate as we prefer a dry rub seasoning vs buttered sauces. Everything was great, would definitely visit again.“
