“I ordered the Cantina Chicken Bowl and the Volcano Quesarito, and both items stood out for different reasons.
The Cantina Chicken Bowl feels like one of Taco Bell’s more thoughtfully put-together menu items. The slow-roasted chicken has a noticeably better texture than the usual diced chicken and tastes properly seasoned rather than bland. The cilantro-lime rice and black beans provide a solid base, and the fresh ingredients like lettuce, pico de gallo, and shredded cheese help balance the heavier components. The avocado-based sauce brings everything together without overpowering the bowl. It’s filling, relatively balanced, and not overly greasy, which makes it a good option if you want something substantial without feeling weighed down.
The Volcano Quesarito, on the other hand, is clearly designed for indulgence. The melted cheese lining the tortilla gives it a rich, soft exterior, and the combination of seasoned beef, rice, and Volcano sauce makes it extremely filling. The Volcano sauce is the highlight—it has real heat, not just mild spice, and delivers a lingering kick that fans of spicy food will appreciate. It is heavy and rich, though, so it’s definitely more of a treat than an everyday item.
Overall, Taco Bell delivered exactly what it aims for: bold flavors, solid portions, and quick service. Quality can vary depending on location, but when prepared well, items like these show that Taco Bell can go beyond basic fast food. Four stars.“
“Taco bell is one of those love/hate relationships. You love how easy it is to order, love how the food tastes but you'll probably hate yourself for devouring several tacos/burritos. Doesn't matter because you're full.
As for this store in particular: there's one lady here that's really nice, pays attention and helps her team meet their daily quota.
There's not much going on with the tables and chairs but there's enough room for the family/team to dine-in.“
“Friendly staff we all know Taco Bell is a commercial type of fast food joint. But the menu items are pretty good and I like the fact that they don't force you to use the computer screen to make your order they still keep your traditional you have the option to use the machine or a person can take your order. And other states you literally talk to no one you can't find what you want on this stupid computer screen and eventually you give up lots of people walk in notice that nobody's going to physically talk to them the staff ignores you and you leave.“
“Went through the drive through at noonish on 03/31/26. The staff had crazy good attitudes, absolute sweetheart attitudes. Not something I expect in fast food (considering the lady who interacts with me has to take orders at the same time AND that local fast food wages do not meet the cost of living).“
“Wnt in to pick
Up a Dash order was greeted by laughing talking employees and before I could blink was right there with them and they never missed a bet doing there jobs don't believe me Taco Bell Mansfield Rd. See what happens“
“I go about once a week and it's a rare occasion when they get something wrong. Service isn't always the most talkative but they're usually friendly which beats 90% of Shreveport fast food. Also shoutout the new 'dipping' beef taco which is really just a birria taco. Smacks. Taco Bell RULES! $7 luxe cravings box hell yeah“
“We've been going here for years. Not regularly, but maybe before a movie or whatever we may be doing on that side of town.
Every visit wasn't always top notch - what place is ?? But, they've mostly been good visits or we would not keep going back.
Gotta watch the taco supremes, supreme,. They get chincy on the tomatoes sometimes. And maybe the sour cream gets on the outside of the shell.
But, overall the food is as expected and hits the spot.
The store is kept clean - as is the parking lot. Now, I go during the day so I dunno what busy nights might be like 😁
I'll take pictures next time if I remember !“
“Some of the employees don't understand the concept of Customer Service. One cashier was chewing gum, one was not very polite, and the on-duty manager was not interested in hearing my complaint about the cashier taking the order through the drive-through being curt, almost rude.“
