“Teddy's is a very unique and colorful place. I listened to Teddy himself tell stories about the Delta and so many of the interesting blues artists that performed at the joint. It was such a privilege to spend time talking with him. These old time bluesmen, unfortunately, are a dying breed and there are very few real juke Joints left. For an awesome experience pay Teddy a visit in Zachary Louisiana!”

“Absolutely delish! My favorite of the night was the vegetables in the brown sauce that came with the meals, thinking about making it an entre for next time for me, I was obsessed! Even my husband enjoyed it and he is not a veggie person.. We loved the sesame chicken, general tsos was a close second and the fried rice was flavorful . The egg rolls are top tier and the egg drop soup was a yummy classic!. I 100% recommend. Wish I had taken photos, but I can hardly think long enough to snap a photo before chowing down. Lol”

“Jalapeños in Jackson has such a cute, rustic vibe and a great atmosphere! One of my favorite features is the open fire pit right in the dining room—they actually light a fire during the winter when it’s cold, which makes it so cozy.
I’ve eaten here several times, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They even have live music from time to time!
The food is absolutely delicious, the prices are low, and you get a ton of food for your money. My top recommendation is the pork fajitas with added pineapple and extra vegetables—it's incredible. I’ve also tried the steak fajitas and the tamales. If you order a burrito, just know it's a huge tortilla filled with meat and all the toppings served on the side.
Pair your meal with one of their frozen margaritas; they are the perfect way to round out the experience. It’s easily one of my favorite spots in town!”

“We came in with a group of 15 hungry Boy Scouts and 4 adults. The staff (including the owner) greeted us, got us seated, and quickly took our drink and pizza orders. Drinks were quickly served and the pizzas followed just as quickly. The whole time we were there (roughly an hour), there was a steady stream of carry-out customers, none of whom had to wait more than 5 minutes. The pizza was good, with generous portions of toppings. The next time we stay at nearby Avondale Scout Reservation or go zip lining at Magnolia Ridge Adventure Park, we'll definitely keep Café 94 in mind...”

“China Wok has been a Zachary staple for over 20 years, and the food is consistently hot and delicious. I’ve tried several things on the menu, and the quality is truly remarkable. Their Egg Foo Young is amazing and the Hunan Pork is absolutely delicious—I personally like to kick up the spice levels by asking them to add chili peppers, and they are always accommodating with the request.
You also have to try the hot wings; they are honestly some of the best around Zachary—always served piping hot, incredibly crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. I don't know if they have ranch or blue cheese to serve with them but honestly they're so good you don't need a dip...
I’ve had many different dishes beyond just the favorites, and the quality is 100% amazing every time. Plus, the service is fast and the portion sizes are large, so you definitely get your money's worth. They have great lunch specials too, but a helpful tip for ordering: if you get the fried rice or a lunch special with fried rice, make sure to specify a protein. Otherwise, it comes as a plain egg fried rice with no vegetables or meat added.
