“My husband and I went in on a Saturday night. The food was great (the corn fritters were our favorite). My husband had the seafood platter and everything was cooked well and seasoned great. I ordered the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly at the medium I requested. The Summertime margarita was sweet and great the beers were reasonably priced and cold. We did not care for the dessert we ordered a brownie a la mode and the brownie was over cooked and not very good. Overall we'd give it an 8 out of 10 and go back in and just skip the dessert.”

I got the mushroom burger with special fries, and everything was delicious, fresh, and hot! The young lady that owns the restaurant took my order, and she was so sweet and helpful. “This is my favorite CC's. I can swing around and get a bite between schools or treat my mother to a favorite sugar-free treat in the evenings. My favorite sandwich is the turkey and provolone. When I treat myself to something sweet, the blueberry or pistachio muffins. We love the coffees and teas. The coffees are southern style with southern strength to it-- none of that dishwater weak stuff. The frappacinos are a great dessert. We can have a treat with splenda instead of sugar which is very important when treating my mother. The folks are nice there. When I can, I like to buy the purchase for the people in the car behind me because someone did that for me. I've liked every student I've seen working there. They're great kids. So I'm glad there is an option on the new device to leave a tip at the drive-thru.”

“Pizza was just the right size for one person. Had the hot honey off to the side. Was pretty good but needed just a bit more heat. I got the gluten free crust just for the hell of it & that was pretty good too. Sauce was on point not sweet at all. Loved the flavor the open fire gives it. I actually could have eaten another one to myself being I was hangry. Will definitely go again when traveling.”

“I know they are short handed at times, but there is one waitress or she just stays behind the counter, not sure, but she doesn’t have a good attitude or “bedside manner” so to speak. All the call in orders get taken care of prior to you being seated. The last 2 times we’ve been there, we’ve had to sit for 20 min while 13 customers (not counted) came in to pick up their call in orders while we just sat & waited. We almost left. The food is good, it’s not great, but it’s good. The shrimp & corn soup is good, but too much corn. The crawfish e’toufe isn’t the best. Their seafood gumbo is good, I do love their fruit, pecan salad with the house dressing.”

“We were looking for a solid chinese food place in Zachary and THIS is it. I'm originally from Atlanta and haven't found a Chinese place I like as much as Hong Kong Restaurant. I tried it originally because my friend was sick and I ordered her wonton soup from here. The soup was so good and really helped her. I stayed in Zachary for about a week and ate here probably 3 times not greasy, the veggies and meat all taste fresh and the food arrives hot! Thank you, Hong Kong Restaurant!”

Highly recommend a try!Parking: Free parking lot for multiple businesses. Like a strip mall.Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple handicap spots and the usual concrete hump to get into the building. Staff have no issues assisting.”

“Decor is minimum. TVs for sport fans.Ordered pork chop sandwich, onion rings, roast beef sandwich and a cup of etouffee. The sandwiches were large. Pork chop had great crunch; however, after taste was off and we could not figure out the spice. The roast beef was divine but the bread fell apart and I ate it with a fork and knife. Onion rings were decent and so were the fries. Etouffee was pretty good. The roast beef by itself is wonderful!!”

“Swore off Zachary Waffle House when it first opened because our waitress was bullied by other waitresses, causing our order to keep being pushed back to end of line of waitresses lined up to present orders to cooks.However, no other restaurants in Zachary serving breakfast so decided to try it again.Old system of getting order placed with kitchen changed, so we were served promptly and food served hot.Waitress pleasant and efficient.Crying baby not pleasant, but, after all, is Waffle House and seated elbow to elbow (next to nice couple).”

“Wanted Chinese food, but it was closed so my cousin suggested trying this place out. I'm from Texas so I love tex mex and have tried a ton! I got the enchiladas and my cousin got the red fish special. Before I even tried my food I was stealing his vegetables. Super tasty, well cooked, and a good variety. My combo enchiladas were fantastic- I ate it before I even considered taking a photo. The service was awesome, my cousin never needed to ask for a refill and I never got to the bottom of mine. We added a dessert after the bill and they got it out quick. The music playing was unexpected but good fun and everyone seemed really nice. Can't wait to come back with more family!”

“Best fried fish I've had in years. Crawfish was really good, but the corn and lil potatoes were really good. Service wasn't great, but she was so dang sweet. Lol ...we'll definitely eat here next time we pass thru.”
