I drive to B&C Seafood regularly from Baker, Louisiana to pick up fresh live crabs. The staff is always friendly and very professional. The live crabs are fantastic with quality and price. The welcoming atmosphere that is always prevalent gets a big thumbs up.
I loved this place! The staff were friendly and the live music we were treated to music from a great cajun fiddler while we ate! The food was really good too! Delicious gumbo and the shrimp po boy was decent. If I had more time I would have opted for a dozen or more blue crabs that they had to offer, fresh out of the water! It’s really close to the Laurel and Oak Alley Plantations which makes it a great option for anyone going to tour those locations!! Highly recommend it!
Just a little country restaurant but the food is worth the stop - the catfish was some of the best I’ve had … not fishy, strong, or greasy, just perfectly cooked, and pleasant, no tartar sauce needed. The jambalaya and white beans were a new food pairing for me, and I enjoyed both.
