With no info (phone number) she had a job finding me. The employee who turned in my wallet was Emma. This is two very honest employees. 100% of my contents was still in wallet. With all the crime in our area i feel very blessed to of ran across these two. So shout out to Emma and Emily Evelyn Hays”

“So I've come here a few times since they opened, but tonight was the first time I tried the double cheeseburger. I was surprised that it actually tasted like fresh meat cooked on the grill and not a frozen meat disc. I'll definitely be going back for another one. Fries, onion rings, hush puppies, and shrimp were all pretty good. And the portions were huge. We had plenty of food left over. The reason for the four stars is because they claim they serve catfish, like the people of Louisiana don't know any better. Come on guys. Ain't no way.”

“From the woods to the grill within a week!! Day’s didn’t just smoke the sausage but they have to be the most efficient at processing a deer! We dropped a deer off on a Monday at 6am and it was ready to be picked up that Saturday. When I dropped it off the young man working made sure what I wanted was correct 3xs. I could tell he actually cared about his job and getting it right. Quick drop off and when I picked it up I got the same process. 6am pickup (I’m an early bird) Everything was separated and packaged so neat. Worker loaded it all up and I was gone within 10min. We used to just process it ourself but we wanted burritos and smoked sausage. Our scheduled just don’t leave the time for us to do it. Grilling sausage tonight at the deer camp within a week. Highly recommend!! 🦌Happy Hunting!”

“I love to eat here. The roast beef po-boy and shrimp plate are Great!! My favorite is the onion rings, they are delicious. Everything is good. I haven’t heard anyone complain about the food there. The staff are so friendly. I NEVER pass up a chance to eat at Shack 16 and I live south of I-12. Would definitely recommend Shack 16. 5 stars!!”

“Off The Hook in Denham Springs off South Range Ave was a pleasant experience. Their phrase fast Cajun is spot on. I ordered one of the platters plus a small order of crawfish etouffee. Price was a bit more expensive for fast food as I would have liked. But the satisfying quality made it worth it. The fried items were perfectly crispy. Hushpuppies were unexpectedly delicious. Etouffee was mild but still flavorful enough for the average customer. Inside of the restaurant was clean and comfortable. You will find different artwork pieces depicting Louisiana life in a colorful way as well as a description of Off The Hook. Cajun, jazz, and blues music plays in their speakers adding to the fast Cajun theme.
2 bathrooms with individual use instead of stalls. Both with changing stations which is absolutely wonderful to see. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Employees were friendly and helpful. There are dine in, take out, delivery, and drive thru options. I have eaten here many times as well as gotten take out for my family. My family have enjoyed everything we have bought here with no issues or complaints. Definitely recommend.”

“I don’t know if anyone reads anything from this site but I wanted to post a rave for the Baton Rouge location. My mom was transferred into hospice care on the day I ate at your restaurant. It was a horrible day until the nicest server/waitress I have ever had sat us down. She couldn’t have known what we were going through or how much she brightened our day. She was pregnant, I know that. Otherwise I don’t remember her name. One of those days I guess. She just had this light about her and when she smiled Everything seemed a little better. I think God put her there at that moment. Hopefully she will be there the next time we go. But if not I was posting this to tell her thankyou for being you. And good luck with your pregnancy. You are going to be an awesome mom. You are full of light and love. May God bless you abundantly.”
