“This place, like most of the amazing family owned places, does not look like much but please don't let this pass this place by. The staff was super friendly and the food amazing. Glad to have stopped by to have some amazing home cooked food.“
“Stopped in here to "grab" some food and "grab" a soda. This is a gas station that is a chain all over Southern Louisiana, and they actually offer some barbecue meats and what not and it's not bad. By gas station standards it's actually pretty good. There's a reason why they're popular enough to see their products get brought into Texas, which we often do.“
“What a great spot with a great Poboy!! The surf and turf is amazing!! Great atmosphere inside and super friendly servers and staff! If in Lake Charles or passing through, this is your place for delicious food! PoBoy is definitely enough to split, which is what we did.Highly recommend for food, quick service, and coop atmosphere!Parking: Plenty of parking and they have a separate drive thru for to-go.“
“I gave the food a 4 star rating only because it was not the food I originally went there for. We wanted their boudins but, they were all out of them. Got the chicken dinner and it was good but not what we really wanted. Also, the soft spicy Cracklin is fantastic.“
“Asia BBQ is an awesome Asian restaurant that offers a number of items that can be customized with numerous sauces.I ordered the wings and they were perhaps the crunchiest wings I’ve ever eaten. They tasted great as well and paired well with the teriyaki and sweet chili sauces. My table also sampled the fried rice and sweet chili noodle combo and both were great as well.Excited for the next item to try on the menu!“
“The Hut? More like the gut, amirite? That’s what you’re gonna have after you eat here a few times. You’ll be back, the flavors are great. Awesome boudin and potato salad. Beans were a little on the sweet side for me but the service and daily special were so good it didn’t matter much. Definitely my new pit stop off the interstate.“
“My 341st 'cue stop in a 35 state odyssey brought me here for lunch. You order your meats first, and once you receive the plate, you move on to load up your chosen sides cafeteria style before finishing at the soda machine (coke products). A 2 meat (sausage, brisket), 2 sides (dirty rice, peach cobbler) plate with a diet coke ran a very reasonable $16.34. The chopped brisket proved lightly seasoned with a strong pink ring. The sausage was serviceable, the dirty rice terrific, and the peach cobbler surprisingly bland. If I was taking it home, I would add a spice to improve the flavor profile. The Texas toast is a nice touch. In sum, if you are in the neighborhood and hungry for 'cue, this is worth a stop.“
“Love the food here! My mother's favorite place also. The brisket dinners with potato salad and baked beans, delicious. Pulled pork sandwhich and shredded brisket sandwhiches, delicious. To us the portions are huge. Friendly service and nice atmosphere for dine in as well.“
