“Hands down Billy Joe's barbecue is the best barbecue in the golden triangle area of Texas. Owners are very nice people and it's locally owned. They'll even cook fry or smoke your holiday turkeys for a reasonable price and they end up so deliciously cooked . I prefer mine smoked .. simply wonderful.“
“We eat at Jimmy Nick's several times a week and have enjoyed everything that we have eaten. They serve ribs on Friday, that is our favorite although it is difficult to choose just one favorite. Every one of the employees are so cordial. Excellent food and service. PS Be sure to buy some banana pudding.Vegetarian options: Green Beans deliciousPotatoesMac and cheese“
“Food is always good. Girls working their are always customer friendly. "Sneaky Petes" has better burgers and menu items than any other fast food restaurant in Town. Keep up the good work, I appreciate your quality, quantity and freindly employees.Thank You,“
“Great Barbeque and other delights. The Freddy Freeloader is to die for. I never go back to my home town without getting one or several. I could live on them. Freddy and Susan and all the staff are great people and good friends. Freddy/Susan email me a Freeloader. Can't get those here in Florida. Seriously, I'll be in town the end of the month and I will be there for sure. I'll be as anxious to see you guys as I will be to Pig Out - pun intended. Can't wait...Freddy we'll check around for disgraceful US Flags and straighten out anyone flying one. We are both Veterans and Proud of it.Love you guys.Leonard“
“This is some of the BEST BBQ I've had. Tim is one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. He sure credits the BBQ industry. It will be worth the drive now and again to enjoy such good food and people!!!! Thanks Tim!“
“Everyone was so nice and the service was super quick. Maybe 5 minutes if that of waiting after ordering. Food was soooo good and the prices are great. The potatoes are crazy big so it was lunch and dinner for me! Definitely recommend and will be coming back!Kid-friendliness: We brought our one year old and everyone loved her. They had high chairs we were able to use as wellWheelchair accessibility: There is a large ramp that is very easy for anyone to use“
“Good church makes me hungry! I had to be in Groves so I dropped in to Tony's bbq. They used to have one on Memorial Blvd in Port Arthur but it is no longer open, I was thankful to find this one. It was just as good as I remembered, maybe even better! I had a 2-meat combo dinner with brisket/white chicken, corn, dirty rice and a roll. As you can see, it was way more than I could eat. My scarf took the brunt of the lunch and will need a good washing, it was worth it! ?“
“This place is just so good. Everything about it.The first time we went was for the BBQ. We had the brisket, ribs, turkey and sausage. Along with the potato salad, slaw salad, and the cheesy potato’s, and omg it was delicious! Cooked absolutely perfect. The second time we went was last week for the burgers! We got there right before 11 and waited about 25minutes in line, not too bad. The burger…. has changed my life. The first bite I think I gasped and so did my husband. No joke. It’s that good. And so worth it. We look forward to Wednesdays now! ?The people are also SO nice!! Which is always a plus.“
