“My family and I have ordered here for a while now. The meat packages and plate lunches are so very good!! You get what you pay for and more! The brisket, chicken, links, hamburger meat, green beans, potato salad.. I could go on. all so yum. Thank y'all for your hard work and keeping us full!“
“Top 5 BBQ places i have ever eaten at!!!! I have been to a lot. Homemade bbq sauce, not needed dry rub and smoke alone so good. Come early or they start running out. Out of all homemade sausage, brisket and burnt ends when we arrived. All sides are fantastic.“
“This place is just so good. Everything about it.The first time we went was for the BBQ. We had the brisket, ribs, turkey and sausage. Along with the potato salad, slaw salad, and the cheesy potato’s, and omg it was delicious! Cooked absolutely perfect. The second time we went was last week for the burgers! We got there right before 11 and waited about 25minutes in line, not too bad. The burger…. has changed my life. The first bite I think I gasped and so did my husband. No joke. It’s that good. And so worth it. We look forward to Wednesdays now! ?The people are also SO nice!! Which is always a plus.“
“I ordered the chicken wings with dirty rice and fries. Everything was delicious. Chicken wings were moist and well seasoned, and they definitely have some of the best dirty rice in town. This is also the only place I know of where you can buy a fried Cornish hen. They also have fried turkey legs. Will definitely be back to try to fried porkchop dinner and the fish dinner.“
“Food is always good. Girls working their are always customer friendly. "Sneaky Petes" has better burgers and menu items than any other fast food restaurant in Town. Keep up the good work, I appreciate your quality, quantity and freindly employees.Thank You,“
“Great Barbeque and other delights. The Freddy Freeloader is to die for. I never go back to my home town without getting one or several. I could live on them. Freddy and Susan and all the staff are great people and good friends. Freddy/Susan email me a Freeloader. Can't get those here in Florida. Seriously, I'll be in town the end of the month and I will be there for sure. I'll be as anxious to see you guys as I will be to Pig Out - pun intended. Can't wait...Freddy we'll check around for disgraceful US Flags and straighten out anyone flying one. We are both Veterans and Proud of it.Love you guys.Leonard“
“This was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant. We picked it over the Salt grass because of their website. They really showed their menu options better. Our meal was excellent. Tasty. Perfect steak and I am picky about my steak. Service was excellent. Our waitress was being trained, her trainer was very attentive and picked up on things missed. But I had to dock a star for the insane loudness of the music. I love music and am still young enough to appreciate some volume but that volume is annoying for a restaurant. We had to repeat ourselves to the waitress numerous times, talking at our table consisted of "what did you say?" and then silence as it was just easier. I'd go again and hope its not always like that. The food quality gives you that.Parking: Free parking but a small lot for such a busy and large restaurant.“
“Good church makes me hungry! I had to be in Groves so I dropped in to Tony's bbq. They used to have one on Memorial Blvd in Port Arthur but it is no longer open, I was thankful to find this one. It was just as good as I remembered, maybe even better! I had a 2-meat combo dinner with brisket/white chicken, corn, dirty rice and a roll. As you can see, it was way more than I could eat. My scarf took the brunt of the lunch and will need a good washing, it was worth it! ?“
“The food was really good. The okra was a bit too salty for my taste but the mac and cheese was delicious. They give a tiny amount for the price. They also don't know what "Texas size" is that they advertise on their menu they will just ring you up for an extra side and a dessert instead of "making it Texas size". The tiny portion size and not being able to make my husband's meal Texas size is why I'm giving this place a 4 star review. I will probably be back on a Sunday for kids eat free but I'll just order a combo meal then because it seems like the better deal. For 15 dollars I got 4 tiny pieces of chicken, 3 tiny ribs, a small amount of okra, a good size mac and cheese and a roll. The portion sizes can be better but other then that the taste was great and the food was really well seasoned. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bbq place to eat at, just be sure to keep in mind that the portions are small.Kid-friendliness: They have great kids meal options.“
