“We found this restaurant while on a college visit. The wait staff are friendly and they seem to know all their regular customers by name. The food was good and we didn't have to wait long for it. The restaurant was near closing time and not very busy. We will definitely eat there again if we are in the area.“

“On Sunday, July 6, I took my 1 year old and 2.5 year old there by myself. my oldest took advantage of me looking for a pacify and jumped on the table knocking it down and spilling our drinks. The staff were super kind and helpful. we calmed her down and cleaned up the mess. It meant so much to me that they were soft and caring with her and we got new drinks and our food today. The three of us ended up going to the playground down the road to eat, much better for a feisty two year old. Thank you again to the staff for everything!!!“

The atmosphere of this cafe is so warm and welcoming, the Italian coffee is so delicious, the cases are always stocked with delicious danishes and usually a unique item of the day. “The owners a real gentleman. Best coffee in New Bedford. Made with detail love and by an amazing bar keep big El gee . I'm not much of a drinker but he definitely pours up with the best of them. Also he's a 5 star Cape Verdien chef and has weekly special pots of Manchupa , beans rice and peas and so much more . The place is super cozy and music always on point. Sat Sunday for football and beers with friends. Walk in as a stranger leave as family.... life rarely gives you gems like this stop by and see .“

“River’s End offers great food and outstanding service. I stopped here for lunch and ordered the Cheeseburger Plate, cooked to perfection and delicious. The waitress was friendly, kind, and professional. They offer daily specials for a reasonable price. Plenty of food to enjoy. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
