Frankie was more than generous and gave us tons of food so everybody took home leftovers. I got nothing but positive feedback. Their pizza and other food is also excellent as well. We do the 6.99 medium 2 topping pizza when you buy two or more and get a cheesy bread with marinara sauce is perfect. On pizza Philly steak and mushroom with extra cheese and sauce is perfect. Eau Gallie Blvd., Indian Harbor Beach, FL 32937 You 4 Stars (chain restaurant review) Instead of going for a quick Burger or Taco, why not mix it up a bit and head over to your local KKC and change up the routine? Yes, I said KKC, not KFC. The one my random name generator directed me to in Indian Harbor Beach, FL, is 1 of over 2,700 locations across 47 of these United States and some in Malaysia and American Samoa, mainly in convenience stores and gas stations. This one beachside is super clean and, well, beachside. As I stepped up to the counter, I was greeted by Ryan. He is the counter specialist and cook as well. Ryan has a fetching personality and was exceedingly helpful as we placed our order. I ordered some Honey Biscuits, Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish and some Cajun Chicken Tenders. Ryan excused himself to the kitchen while we sat and snapped a few pictures of the place. As I said, it is clean enough to pass any white glove test. I thought it would be nice if the tables had a virginal to pass the time when Ryan indicated our order was up. If a place is advertising hand-breaded chicken, their biscuits better not be the Sysco plug-n-play variety and these weren't. They were obviously made to order and outstanding on the palate. Baked to a perfect golden brown, these were warm, flaky and drizzled in honey. I would rate the biscuits at 4.5 Stars and these are worth the trip all by themselves. They would also make a great after-school/work/errand snack. Next, I took a sampling of the Fried Shrimp. This was nothing to write home about but nothing to scoff at either. The shrimp were of a good size and deep fried to a pleasing color, just missing a little "oomph" to push them over a slightly above-average rating of 3 Stars. Moving on, I set my peepers on the Fried Fish. If the Fried Shrimp was slightly above average, the Fried Fish was slightly below. The Fish had an ever so light fishy taste and as we all know, it shouldn't. The Fried Fish, by itself, would have a meager 2-star rating. This brings me to the final item in my order, the Cajun Chicken Tenders. I went with the 6 PCs, which is a good thing I did as they weren't long for the table! How could you go wrong with hand-breaded breast tenders in a savory coating with tasty dipping sauces? The Tenders were deep fried to a model color and doneness that would make Gordon Ramsay say, "Now, that's an Effin' chicken tender!" If I were just rating the Tenders, this would be a 4.5 Star review all day, every day. As it is, I'm sticking with the 4 Star until they get fresher fish. The Big Boy says, "You know you want some, so just give in and go."“
