“Let there be…space! Most dunks in Brighton or any Bostonian neighbor/suburb are unable to fit my left leg never mind my hyperactive children! This dunks was a little different and allows space to breathe! Imagine that, people aren’t breathing directly on your donut or breakfast sandwich! Plus it was clean and the staff were all they need to be. While it’s nice to have that overly nice cashier at times, there are other times that you just want your damn coffee! Lol“

“Just went here for the first time ever and WOW! First off, omg amazing donuts - I've had a lot of donuts and these are sooo good, they have just moved to the top of my book! Second, everyone in there (and waiting on the sidewalk) was so friendly! It is like this place emits good vibes and puts everyone in a good mood. A truly wonderful experience! Oh and third, surprisingly good coffee - you never know what you are going to get from a basic drip coffee maker but it was good! Thank you all for turning my grumpy morning (I had forgotten my coffee at home, which was the whole reason I went in there in the first place) into a lovely day!“

“I've been wanting to try the donuts here for ages. I'm so glad I finally made it in. They're melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Their honey glazed is like a giant crispy Kreme. The donuts are Super fluffy. This also appears to be a great hang spot for coffee and lottery (as seen by the locals).

I still love my Kanes, but this is a nice SS alternative.

“We used Union Square Donuts catering as a dessert option for our wedding in Cambridge, and they were tremendous. We had a donut wall to go alongside our wedding cake and it was a big hit with our guests. They provided us with a tasting box months prior to the event so we were able to choose the flavors we wanted for the wedding, including a vegan option for certain guests. We would highly recommend hiring Union Square Donuts to add a special touch to any private event!“

I ordered the Dubai chocolate donut and forgot to pick it up the next day and I messaged them on Instagram and they were kind enough to replace it for free and they even threw in an extra donut. “I first met the owner since he was selling kombucha at farmers’ markets back before he started the donut business. I’ve always found their donuts somewhat variable although most are excellent. Having moved to the neighborhood of this shop I came in and tried their vegan Chai Apple Cider. It was delicious and tasted like fall. They had four vegan flavors when I came in.“

Now I randomly crave donuts at 8 pm when they’ve already closed and I have to (impatiently) wait until the next morning. “We tried two flavors as part of a Boston underground donut tour. So they were brought to a table, my tour guide in pieces ready for us to share. We tried the brown butter cruller and a hibiscus glazed yeast doughnut. I thought both were excellent. The cruller was awesome that morning when it was fresh, but I took some leftover samples home and I could definitely tell by the end of the day It was dry and didn't taste as good. The cherry and hibiscus glazed doughnut fared better throughout the day. we had an excellent experience and the donuts were very fresh and tasty. The unique flavors are an awesome novelty to try. I like the atmosphere of the food court and it has a clean restroom available as well, with a reasonable amount of seating.“

“Best donuts in the area! Their donuts are incredible in flavor. They’re light, fluffy, and delicious - my kids request them every week! Our favorites are vanilla glaze, everything donut, and the Apple fritter. Sometimes they have savory tarts which are SO good. We especially love the pride donuts they have every June. Blackbird employees are always so friendly and welcoming as well, which is also appreciated. Blackbird also delivers through DoorDash, and the donuts are always delivered fresh. The Newton location does not have a bathroom, fyi but that does not detract from the amazing food! Thank you Blackbird for being such a wonderful addition to our community!“

“I come here every so often. Just a local doughnut shop where you can also buy scratch tickets/tobacco. My go-to is the glazed chocolate. Relatively smaller doughnut but it is just the right size if you don't want to feel too guilty. Service is always excellent but I never tried any of the breakfast sandwiches.“

“I have been getting my morning coffee here for years. They are always very kind to me and my dog, Banjo. Someone usually manages to sneak Banjo some bacon and that makes us both very happy.
My only complaint is that one specific manager has turned off Dunkin Radio and replaced it with some non-english spoken word stuff. I didn't know the content, but no one seems to be into it. Plus, when he's there no one seems to be having fun and they are reluctant to sneak banjo bacon when he is there.“
