Notice employees are scattering around like they don’t have a destination or assigned locations. This Dunkins definitely needs to be improved. Highly suggest manager talk to employees and have them placed in designated locations to perform work efforts. it’s very important that you have your employees understand that their job is to be placed at certain locations of the building so this way your employees are not scattering around. I sat inside the store for a half an hour and watch your workers do their job as I do Google reviews based on negative reviews which draws my attention to the location when I had walked in I was not greeted as it’s very important to greet every customer that walks in through your doors even when you are working the registers, it’s very important for the register employee to acknowledge new customers or any customer coming in to greet them as they are attending to another very important to greet customers as you are attending another to show that you are appreciated the thought of them coming into your location and welcome them in with hospitality as I watch your workers. Your workers were not designated and we’re trying to perform other employees task. Hope to come back and see that there are some changes.“

Because my son has celiac disease, options for baked goods is limited, especially when your plane lands at 6:30pm on the big day and gluten free options aren’t known to last long once baked. Unfortunately, living in Southern New Hampshire, delivery via UberEats or GrubHub wasn’t an option But, being a father himself, Ruben kindly offered to deliver them personally after work. This man went above and beyond, first driving home to pick up his kids. You see, his wife needed to get to her job so he brought his kids along for the adventure. In addition, he refused all forms of tipping despite my repeated insistence. He explained that he hopes someone would do the same for his kids if he was in my position and, as the manager, he felt compelled to make it happen. Ruben, you’re an angel, one in a million, an amazing human! I hope you receive back the blessing you bestowed on me and my son 10-fold! Thank you isn’t enough. “Just went here for the first time ever and WOW! First off, omg amazing donuts - I've had a lot of donuts and these are sooo good, they have just moved to the top of my book! Second, everyone in there (and waiting on the sidewalk) was so friendly! It is like this place emits good vibes and puts everyone in a good mood. A truly wonderful experience! Oh and third, surprisingly good coffee - you never know what you are going to get from a basic drip coffee maker but it was good! “I had an amazing experience at this bakery! I bought the Dubai chewy cookies with cheese and monuts, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced.

What really stood out was the staff — they were incredibly kind and patient, explaining every single product in detail and helping me choose. You can really feel the passion and care behind both the service and the baked goods.

Now I randomly crave donuts at 8 pm when they’ve already closed and I have to (impatiently) wait until the next morning. “It’s like an old school dunks in here. Always filled with folks hanging out gossiping over coffee. It’s clean. They’re always fast and accurate. The staff is friendly. The gentleman with the longer dark hair really seems to enjoy is his job and will banter with the regulars, he’s really kind and personable.

“Best donuts in the area! Their donuts are incredible in flavor. They’re light, fluffy, and delicious - my kids request them every week! Our favorites are vanilla glaze, everything donut, and the Apple fritter. Sometimes they have savory tarts which are SO good. We especially love the pride donuts they have every June. Blackbird employees are always so friendly and welcoming as well, which is also appreciated. Blackbird also delivers through DoorDash, and the donuts are always delivered fresh. The Newton location does not have a bathroom, fyi but that does not detract from the amazing food! Thank you Blackbird for being such a wonderful addition to our community!“

“Received a DD gift card for Mothers day 2020 from my Gdot, so I used it at 1200 Hyde Park Ave location around 2:50 pm 5/18/ 20 where I was patronized by a very nice latino woman to be specific, ordering the back by popular demand Butter Pecan Iced Coffee, and the new to me Protien Muffin, who she had the food attendant gentlemen working with her retrieve, let me also remind you that during these Covid-19 times, I saw that I had to go inside due to no drive thru available. That was the best service I was given in years, my order in front of me within one minute, and the Muffin was bakery fresh, with the Iced Coffee made to perfection. What I fabulous team they have working here.“
