“If you’re looking for the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, throw axes, eat great food, drink excellent cocktails, and accidentally discover your sister is apparently the most popular girl in Haverhill… look no further than Wicked Axe. My sister’s surprise birthday party was awesome.The food was genuinely great, not the usual “event food” where you politely chew and pretend to enjoy a dry chicken skewer. The drinks were awesome, the axe throwing was a blast, and the live band had the whole place buzzing. The venue itself is huge, fun, and perfectly set up for groups. But honestly, what made the night stand out was the staff. With that many people, something usually goes sideways. Nope. The team handled everything like pros. They were friendly, organized, and upbeat. Wicked Axe absolutely nailed it from start to finish. Great entertainment venue, great atmosphere, and a perfect spot for parties, events, or just releasing a little stress by hurling axes at wood like a civilized adult. Highly recommend. “We had my fathers retirement party here and it was an absolute blast. It was important for my dad to have his grandchildren celebrate with him. This venue had something for everyone. We got the Eagle package which came with private access to two golfing bays and tons of ping pong tables, pool tables, darts, cornhole sets and more. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. There are couches and comfy chairs which have a huge projector screen. We were able to watch the Red Sox and then the Kentucky derby. There are also many other flat screen TVs through out the room. This venue is modern and clean and Al was a pleasure to work with. Our bartender Meg was fantastic. Very personable and was excellent when the kids kept ordering their Shirley temples and soda drinks. I highly recommend this venue for your party needs.“

“Fun night bowling, having hors d’oeuvres and Cocktails, the food was Devine. Inviting atmosphere, impeccable surroundings. Service with a smile. I recommend if you are ever in the area stop in and stay awhile. There is a full bar!! Entertainment: bowling and video games. Even if you decide to have cocktails at the bar, sit in the lounge with friends, catch up over drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Guaranteed to have a fabulous evening.“

“We just experienced our 3 visit today. I took my mom and fiancé Krista For their prime rib special, as always, absolutely delicious. The food and drinks are amazing. And the service is excellent we had the owner Brenna as our waitress she is an absolute sweetheart super friendly and the bartender Greg was on point with the drinks. And the atmosphere is always great. We will definitely be back again soon. Raerocks definitely rocks“

I’ve only tried a couple things on their menu but everything has been a 10/10 so far (especially the birria tacos, super authentic 🤤) and I can’t wait to go back and try more. “After my 1st season in the Monday night league I thought I would give a review. The servers Bri, Faith, Sandra and the rest are great. The bartenders Luke and Rosi are wonderful. Kimberly is fantastic. When she was behind the bar I had 2 draft beers. I noticed I was charged over $50. I brought this to the manager's attention and Kimberly said I was right and overcharged. After going through a lot of red tape., I got a discount card and refund my money. The other thing is the automatic scoring. When I throw a candle pin ball and knocks down pins, sometimes it marks the wrong score. For instance I knock 7 pins down it scores a 5. Then trying to sub bowlers in and absentees is a pain. They should have stuck to the old scoring when you use the pencil, see through score sheet and the overhead projectors. Also when a pin rolls over the pin line it counts for a third ball and don't even have a chance to complete the box. Nice establishment and clean with great employees but the modern technology scoring is the downfall. That's why I rate this 4 stars.“

“The restaurant inside Wamesit Bowling is an excellent place to eat. Really good quality food with a lot of choices at a reasonable price. Always polite, friendly and helpful staff. Wheelchair access at tables and restrooms is excellent. Most of the times we've visited it's been busy but not over crowded. Our latest visit it was quite loud, but it happened to be on their tenth year celebration and there was a Patriots game on. There are a lot of screens, but you can still talk and be heard. Obviously there is easy access to the arcade and bowling alley. Great selection of drinks and a few, but really good desserts. There is a separate kids menu too.“

“Tonight is my husbands birthday and this being his favorite restaurant it was a no brainer to come. He has just had a pretty major surgery which affects how he eats quite a bit and I just have to say Melissa and Dave (he was training I’m sorry if I got the wrong name) were absolutely AMAZING. They made the whole night so enjoyable even though my husband struggled through eating. They were also amazing with our two kids! I have never been a huge fan of the TGIF menu but even the food was wonderful tonight. Even if it was awful, I’d come back for these two amazing servers ANY day. Thank you is not enough to express how grateful we are for the wonderful service tonight 💕“

“My server I got was Jisella, she was really nice and attentive, honestly whenever I come here I feel really ignored but she actually seemed like she wanted to talk to me and she was super quick with food and drinks! The food itself was pretty good for the price, half off apps are a really good deal I hope they keep them“
