Beautifully renovated space and the menu choices are great! The scallop dish was beautifully plated and delicious, the rice bowls were wonderful and highly recommend the bread pudding for dessert We were in the back of the main area, so it was hard to see what else was going on, but it sounded like there might have been live music and a fireplace around the corner.
First time at Tavern on 28. I was immediately impressed by the decor. It is nicely decorated, open, bright space. It has a bar with outside and inside dining. There online (QR code) drink menu does not work well. I needed to ask for the wifi code and when I get it to load, I was unable to find the menu. I had to ask for the hard copy menu. Unfortunately, both beers me and my friend requested were "out of stock." The menu is limited in a good way and we tried their meatballs (recommend)....read full review
