“Located on the main floor of the Chester P. Tuttle American Legion, post 279, the cafe is a convenient, reasonably priced place to grab a bite with plenty of parking. The sandwich combos are around $15, portions are plentiful and very good. The sweet potato fries were awesome! Great place for an all American meal, complete with your favorite beverage!“

“We stopped here for breakfast while passing though the state. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our large group. The food was delicious and portions were large. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back again. ❤️“

“I only bother to review this location (yes, it’s Starbucks though the service may a bit more disorganized than other stores) because it is larger than most and shaped like a bowling alley. Oh, and it’s handy off of I-90 as the service areas heading to Boston along this stretch don’t have Starbucks - horrors!“

“Amazing! The Reuben blew my mind and the fries are wicked flavorful. We ate here every single day of our Salem stay and it still didn’t feel like I got enough of it. Their desserts are so good. The whoopie pies, chocolate and funfetti, remind me of childhood. I also had the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes…chefs kisses all around. The husband said the cookies were great and had several every night for a bedtime snack. They had peanut butter chocolate chip and traditional chocolate chip. Both were winners! We tried the Reuben, turkey wrap, chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, and desserts. Everything was great. We did not have one item that didn’t taste great. Make this one of your must visit stops if you’re in Salem!“

“We had a massive snowstorm over the weekend that canceled my daughter’s sixth birthday party, and she woke up absolutely heartbroken. In a last-minute Hail Mary, I called The Rose Room Cafe to see if there was ANY chance a few kids could come in for cake, presents, and a little celebration to lift her spirits. They didn’t hesitate—they were incredibly accommodating and let us use their beautiful space on short notice. The team was so warm, flexible, and genuinely kind; they truly went above and beyond to make sure my little girl felt special on her big day. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere was perfect for our small group, and it turned what could have been a sad day into a magical, memorable one. The Rose Room isn’t just a great cafe with amazing coffee, scratch-made treats, and local vibes—they’re a community gem that cares deeply about the people around them. I owe them big time and can’t thank them enough. If you’re in the area, support this wonderful spot—you won’t find kinder people or a warmer place. Highly recommend! “Lucians has been providing excellent food and service to downtown Worcester and surrounding areas from different locations for at least 20 years. You won't find nicer people anywhere. I'm so happy they've found a home in what's left of the old mall. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Great food made to order, at a great price! And now they're open for breakfast too. “Really nice experience. Friendly service, very clean, and much more spacious than it first appears (there’s a large seating area in the back that’s perfect for reading or a quiet conversation). The croissant with egg and cheese was delicious and filling, and the cappuccino was excellent too. Definitely recommended.“

“Sending email with payment due 3 days before its due... Does bursar or anyone in that office have thousands of $ in their account to be able to make that kind of payment on such a short notice? Why do they expect an average parent to be able to have it? I find it disrespectful and straigh up abuse. How is a student supposed to concentrate on learning with this kind of surprises? He registered few months ago!!! And you had to wait for the last 3 days to notify? if you want horrible communication about financial part - that's your school. Teachers are great. Bursar's office is a constant source of stress and will not volunteer any information - should be working as spies.“
