“We found Catering by Terrie while searching for local caterers for our unexpectedly rushed wedding. Most catering companies declined the request as the wedding was planned for less than two months away. Terrie not only agreed to work within the limited schedule, but also adapted some of the dishes from her catering menu to accommodate some of our guests with restrictions. Terrie’s team was punctual, polite, and professional. The food was fantastic, and by the end of the evening all the guests were well-fed. Many compliments were received on the charcuterie board, curry noodle bowls, coconut shrimp, chicken parmesan sliders, and many others. Set-up and take-down also went without a hitch. With all of the headache and stress that went into a wedding planned on such short notice, Terrie and her team graciously handled one of the biggest aspects, and helped to make the day as perfect as we could have hoped.“

“TCA was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We booked them early in the planning process, at the same time as our venue. When our venue decided to not honor their contract with us in favor of taking on a bigger, more lucrative wedding, TCA stepped up and immediately helped us find an alternate venue. Their guidance and support through that process was invaluable and made an incredibly upsetting situation much easier. We just had our wedding a few weeks ago, and our guests are still RAVING about the food, the bar service and the quality of the service overall. We opted to do more of a cocktail party style wedding, with passed apps, followed by small plates without assigned seating. We were a bit nervous about the plan since its different from a typical seated dinner, but TCA helped us execute the plan perfectly. The food was outstanding - everything tasted fresh, seasonal, and like it was right out of the kitchen. They were amazing about catering to specific dietary needs and ensured everyone had plenty of options. We had a specific individual from their server team who was assigned to us all night, and she was amazing about checking on us and making sure we always had drinks in our hands and that we got to eat all of the delicious food. They also gave us tons of food to take home and our freezer is stocked with leftovers that we can't wait to eat. “I have been here a couple times and each time, I am NEVER displeased. I can’t say the same for the other locations though. I got the carbonara and stick to that usually which is always impeccable. I’ve had my food right after I get into the car after leaving and reheated leftovers and the food is perfect either way. The garlic bread with cheese is massive and so tasty!“

They were very flexible with allowing us to arrive early in the day to decorate the hall : once for a wedding reception and another time for a baby shower. The menu for both occasions was very flexible and the quality of the food was really great. But as good as all that was , the staff was amazing. They were always available, polite, efficient, and responsive to our needs/wants. We will always use Smith’s Catering for all of our forthcoming events.

“Gourmet Caterers were the required caterers for our venue the PEM in Salem, and we are so happy we had the opportunity to work with them for our wedding. Ann and Isa from the team were so helpful, getting us organized before the tasting, and adjusting the menus to fit our needs. We had a lot of Gluten Free guests, and they found ways to accommodate this so everyone felt safe with their meals. This is on top of how all of the food was. A special touch was that we were given a separate bride & groom plate to enjoy some of the cocktail hour nibbles on our own. The food at the reception was delicious, including a selection of petit desserts that were to die for. Everyone we talked to loved the food and were so impressed by the level of service that they received from the GC team from the cocktail hour, to the bartenders, to the tableside service.
