“We are an entertainment service company that specializes in small ensemble/DJ combos. We performed at our first wedding at The Herb Lyceum in early October and were blown away. First of all, the garden and grounds are LOVELY, the food is OUTSTANDING and the staff were all WONDERFUL. Everyone there was friendly and professional, and truly allowed us to do what we do best, and we felt fully supported to do our jobs. Often with outdoor venues, we have issues with power, but not here! We had ample power for the ceremony, dinner reception and the dance party under the tent, running some heavy wattage sound and lights. We very much look forward to coming back to do more events in the future!“

“Solid local mainstay when you’re feeling a bit fancy but not “ooo la la,” if you know what I mean? We went with 6 adults and 3 kids under 5 for a low-key birthday brunch. I wouldn’t say the food was phenomenal, but I liked what I ordered, and the servers were attentive. I’d recommend this for a lazy Sunday when you want to get together with some friends for solid options but no major frills.“

“Arugula salad is the best ever! Shrimp cocktail is excellent. The Lobster Guacamole, Spicy shrimp & hummus apps also excellent. Best entrees- Short Rib, Half roasted Chicken, Fish Tacos & their burgers delish. Best desserts: bread pudding - unreal!! & their salted caramel mousse and fresh whipped cream in the mason jar- ( tip may need a cig afterwards)!“

“My colleagues and I visited this establishment directly following our performance at GrotonFest, which was held nearby. The staff was very courteous and obliging. Lauren, our server, was particularly pleasant. We shared some lighthearted conversation, and our food was served promptly. The meal was substantial, the staff was friendly, and the view was extraordinary. The Rusty Randoms highly recommend Forge and Vine!“

“well this spot has been serveral restaurants over the years, and it is a lovely spot now after a recent redo...spacious inside with a lovely bar and wonderful seating....too chilly to try but it has a wonderful looking outside patio...service was pleasant but busy, we had the pretzel app very good and the pastrami and cheese steak sandwiches, both were ok...new so probably still learning, very lovely spot to get a bite to eat!!“

“Had the Cesar salad, it was pretty good (a little overdressed for my taste). The service was very slow considering we were only 2 of 4 people at the bar. Overall not a bad place if you don't feel like going out, but if you have another option, I would probably pick it.“

“I visited Texas Road House, which I had not for a while because my experience the last time I went through four years ago was not great but going back today with my daughter and grandchild and Cese, our waitress was amazing very attentive very kind and respectful made it fun for my granddaughter great choice and hiring her she’s amazing.“

“We got the steak tip and the kids fried haddock.. Yummy yummy yummy. Our waitress was fantastic, and the food was delicious. One of our best eats. I highly recommend trying this place out a few times over. Fast service on a Sunday afternoon. We will be back

“The food was great as was the service. Try the poutine! So good. The only drawback was that they had live music in the bar area and still had the music playing over the speakers in the dining area. A little too jumbled. Great place to try though.“

“The 3 for me deal is awesome.Started off with wings with hot sauce which were perfectly cooked and salsa and chips. We got 6oz sirloin steaks cooked to perfection, awesome loaded potatoes and broccoli which were plentiful and the Cesar salad and clam chowder were great. Had the cheese cake for dessert and it was a large delicious slice with strawberry preserve jam sauce. The place was busy but our waitress was very friendly, attentive and helpful.“
