For what drives a man to create such a masterpiece, such a; beautiful symphony of flavor and texture. Only obsession can create such a meal. Perhaps the recipe stems from a form of escapism. Did something trouble Chef Paul has a child? Some inescapable trauma? Was the only way out the loaf ? Whatever the case, there is no amount of suffering that is not worth the creation of Chef Pauls Meatloaf. “The Bull Run has been a known quantity to me since childhood.. I grew up in Shirley. So when it came time to memorialize my Dad who had passed, I did so in Shirley and got the Bull Run to cater it. Start to finish they were awesome.. advising how to estimate the amount of people and how much food to put out, what kind of food, all the trappings of tablecloth, cutlery etc.. all taken care of. I knew I was going to be distracted in a million different directions, from set up to clean up, the Bull Run people took care of it. We had more than enough very tasty well prepared and presented food and I could devote time to my family and friends. Thank you Bull Run for a beautiful event start to finish.“

“I was in this area, at NAPA grabbing some parts. Saw Choff's truck next door and asked the guys if was any good. They all lit up. Awesome steak sandwiches. Guy had been there since the 80s. I went right over and ordered a steak tip, peppers, onions, and cheese. He also makes a home made sauce for the subs. Make sure you ask for it. It's amazing, and there is an interesting history to it also. The sandwich was awesome, and everything the guys talked it up to be. Fresh steak, cooked perfect. The roll is from a bakery in Boston and the bread was perfect sandwich style. If you ever get out this way, make sure you stop in and try this perfect steak tip sandwich!“

“Slattery's is another great place to eat at hands down the best clam chowder I've had in my entire life they have a bar and televisions and an open atmosphere and quieter sections if you prefer that and I do believe there's outside seating During certain seasons. It's a great place to get great food for reasonable prices. There is plenty of parking available right past slattery's on the left they have an entire lot it's never over full and it's camera monitored so you don't have to worry about anybody breaking into your vehicles. It's an absolute hole in the wall place that's definitely worth eating at on a regular basis if I was in Fitchburg more I would eat there at least once a week.“

“ok, so I'm not sure what happened tonight, but a far different experience from a few weeks ago. Then Iwas impressed with service, food, cocktails. the whole experience was just wonderful last time. after that girls night out, I raved to hubby "we got go there!" I work in Leominster, but live 45 mins away, so we usually dine out more local to home. Tonight started with an espresso martini...well, they've decided to top it with a cold foam type of topping. so the whole top have inch of the glass is foam, not beverage. martinis are expensive, a martini should be brim full, disappointed and felt cheated for the price. I ordered their boneless "jumbo chicken wings". turned out to be 6 little chunks of chicken, not much bigger than mcnuggets, and they were way over cooked to the point they were rock hard. I had to discreetly remove some from my mouth because they were beyond rock-hard. a dining companion in the group had the same experience with hers.the sauces I chose to accompany were tasty, but they didn't do much to help the chicken. the female bartender was great, attentive, and happy. wish I could rave, but not this time sadly.will try again because I don't think this was normal“

Lauren, our server, was particularly pleasant. We shared some lighthearted conversation, and our food was served promptly. We have always had good luck at this location until today. There was confusion about my order tonight, a mistake was made. Ok happens. The waitress made me feel it was my fault and although she expedited my order, she left me with the sides instead of offering to remake and bring back with the order. A manager always comes out when there is a problem and apologizes for a problem and often comes back with the new order. Yes, the manager was there . We said hi to him on our way in as he was going out back. They will also take something small off the bill for making you wait. I don't believe the manager was told or knew about the situation. The waitress also proudly announced that she fixed the bill to be correct, meaning full charge. It was a very weird experience at a restaurant we do like

“the food was great however our waitress was not. the place wasn't busy at all and there were at least 2 other servers. after we finished eating it took over 20 minutes before we saw her again to ask for boxes and ice cream. when she finally came to us it would be another 20 minutes before we finally got tired of waiting and my husband got our own boxes and asked for the check. add more wait time and we decided to go up to the front where the waitress finally decided it was a good time to make our ice creams. we told her to just make them to go. the entire time we were there it was 2 hours! they did however take 25% off our bill so that was nice. I had 2 kids with me so they were getting very antsy as well. overall not a good experience.“

We got 6oz sirloin steaks cooked to perfection, awesome loaded potatoes and broccoli which were plentiful and the Cesar salad and clam chowder were great. Had the cheese cake for dessert and it was a large delicious slice with strawberry preserve jam sauce. The place was busy but our waitress was very friendly, attentive and helpful.“
