“Lived in NYC for many years and became a pizza snob. My wife and I searched for good pizza in Boston for the better part of a year and became addicted to this place. Sauce is delicious and flavorful. Crispy crust, tasty pepperoni. Just an awesome pizza. Bravo.“

“This was a superb chicken sandwich. I got mine hot, which was very good spice level, heat, but not crazy. The Cajun fries, fried pickles, and kale slaw were all very good sides. If you like cole slaw, do try the kale slaw. The portions of everything were robust. My only complaint would be how full I was after eating all that delicious food.“

“Ordered from here a few times and food is great, no complaints by anyone yet. if you order for yourself or two people its cool, but if you order for 3 or more people they get all bent out of shape about it and are rude about it. Sounds counterintuitive but its true. Almost like you're doing them a disservice by ordering over $30 worth of food. But food is great so we just laugh about it

Ambiance is great, clean, and appetizing; you also get to watch the order-makers while making your pizza, which is cool! Order-takers are really kind and helpful, too. “Happened to be in Watertown, googled nearby restaurants for lunch and Halfway cafe came up as a suggestion. It was only a mile away, so I decided to try it out. In business since 1964, it turned out to be a lively place with friendly staff and good food. I ordered a beer, which came with a small bowl of movie theater popcorn to much in while I waited for my grilled chicken sandwich. I enjoyed my yummy lunch while watching the French open on one of the large screen tv’s. A nice place to hang if you find yourself in Watertown.“

“I saw Jayson Tatum here yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like five orders of crab rangoons in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bags and keyed in quantity x5, he stopped her and told her to enter each line individually “to prevent any math tricks,” and then turned around and winked at me. If he was making a joke, I guess I didn't get it. After she keyed in each individual order of rangoons and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.“

“This place was not what I expected from the outside- actually drove by it looking for a stand alone restaurant; its in a strip mall.
Once inside it was a very cool place.
They have a good variety of food items to choose from, and the traditional pizza was good. I'll be back to catch a Pats game!“
