“I’ve always had a decent experience with this dominos location but online ordering is difficult. I have to use pinpoint delivery on my address because they say they wont deliver “this far” when im in west Medford, but it works for other people. And depending on the days and times of day i will order, the pizza will differ in quality. I always mark it for garlic crust and sometimes it will have some others it will be completely plain. Also sometimes the pizza looks completely dry and almost stale but other than that its a decent experience, depending on who’s working a shift when you order.“

“Birdies Hot Chicken is a locally owned spot that has quietly built one of the stronger reputations for fried chicken in the Boston area, and the tenders are where that reputation is easiest to understand.

The chicken comes out juicy and well crusted, with a batter that stays crispy without being thick or greasy, and the seasoning underneath does more work than most hot chicken spots bother with. The spice levels are worth taking seriously. The extra hot is genuinely challenging and rewarding in equal measure if you have the tolerance for it, but the mid-range levels give you enough of the flavor profile to understand what the kitchen is doing without requiring a recovery period afterward.

“I’ve been eating here for a long time and generally enjoy the food. The chicken is flavorful, and it’s one of my favorite peri-peri spots. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The rice and chicken portions are often quite small, and the rice is not always fresh. At the same time, the salad portions tend to be very large compared to the rice. A better balance between the sides and more consistent freshness would make the overall experience even better.“

Yes, this is Detroit-style pizza outside of Detroit, but WOW is it delicious!!!! 10/10 would highly recommend.“
