“My experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken was one of the best restaurant visits I have ever had, and a huge reason for that was an employee named Brady. From the moment I walked through the door, he greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. It is rare to meet someone who clearly enjoys helping customers, but Brady made that obvious from the very beginning. His positive attitude created a great first impression and made the entire visit enjoyable.

As I looked over the menu, Brady was patient and happy to answer my questions. He explained the different spice levels, recommended some of the most popular items, and made sure I understood what I was ordering. He never rushed me or acted annoyed, even though the restaurant was busy. Instead, he stayed calm, friendly, and professional the entire time. That level of customer service is something every restaurant should strive for because it makes customers feel valued and appreciated.

“My husband and I have been coming here for a long time. I had never tried fruit wine when I first came, and I think Diamond Hill has been my point of reference since then. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. Right now I’m enjoying a book and a bottle on the porch amidst a thunderstorm. They host small events and occasional craft markets. I’ve gifted bottles and invited friends to this “hidden gem” for a decade, and I will continue to do so. Thank you Diamond Hill Vineyards for being a special haven for me these past ten years.“

“Took my toddler here Monday and my only regret with coming here is that we’ve lived in North Smithfield for several years and this was our first time coming! My son (almost 3) loved seeing the cows and trucks that were set up there. We went inside to get a snack and he started having a mini meltdown because he wanted to go back outside. An employee (wish I got her name) came from behind the register and gave him a couple stickers and told me I was doing a great job, which really means a lot when you feel like you’re doing something wrong as a mom. I appreciate that woman more than she realized! 💕 I ordered a cream puff and 2 chocolate chip cookies. When the employee from behind the counter handed me my box she let me know she gave us an extra cookie! The employees really were amazing. My son loved his cookie, and I’ve been dreaming of that cream puff ever since 🤤 we can’t wait to come back and try the ice cream! Great snacks and even greater employees! Thank you for a great day!“

My all time favorite is their flagship sandwich, “The Commonwealth.” Piled high with freshly pulled pork, some pieces bigger than others, some with the delicious bark that defines great smoked pork. I love the optional cranberry habanero sauce on the side. Considering the sandwich has over a pound of pulled pork, plus a side ( I traditionally get fries, my wife likes the creamy Mac and cheese), not a bad deal for under $13 with tax.“

“I have been craving nachos, so I asked my Franklin facebook group who makes the best ones around. Raillery got the most mentions, so I tried them out. Oh my goodness! These were the best nachos I’ve ever had. Loaded with toppings through and through, and there was so much, I took half of it home. I may try some of the other places people mentioned, but this will be a very tough act to follow. We always enjoy our meals there, and now there’s one more reason to visit again!“

These owners know the secret to a great pizza. Had it weekly for months. Then we made the silly mistake to try the fish & chips - wow. Our newest addiction. And now we branched out to calzone - shoot, it’s just so good. I refuse to try anything else…..until next week. And I have to mention just how nice every one who works there are. “I was having a great day, I was looking forward to getting Dunkin on my way to work, I had a night shift. I went to Dunkin about 6:47 pm 13 minutes before closing time. As soon as I pulled up, the lady seemed unfriendly and Wasn’t really friendly at the drive-through when I ordered. I simply ordered an iced Matcha latte with cold foam. Which was a medium. And multigrain bagel with butter. Once I pulled up to get my food, I took off and was on my way to work and when I Open the bag with a bagel in it there was no butter on the bagel and inside were two butter packets with a knife. My Matcha Wasn’t even all the way full. It felt like I was drinking a small. I never in my life have gotten A bagel that they haven’t spread butter on. I was so disappointed because I obviously couldn’t spread the butter on the bagel on my way to work so I had to eat it without butter. And I basically finished my Matcha and five sips. so sad.“
