The place was excellent. Trendy, warm environment with friendly and fast service. The food and drinks were amazing. This place is a gem. The calamari was the best I've ever had and I've had it at a lot of places! They didn't have arancini, which I was hoping to try, but everything else was so good I quickly forgot. Great first time experience. Maxed out with reservations for the main and bar, we were seated in the 'Outdoor Pavillion'. Winter rain outside, warm and open in the Pavillion. A nice extension of the main dining room. We look forward to returning in the spring and summer when the place will open up to the outdoors. Good Italian food here. But...In every restaurant I have ever eaten in, and I have eaten in many. When a plate is placed with a human hair on it in front of the customer and that customer has to wait while the food is replated and others in the party start eating. It is customarily expected for the restaurant to deduct from the bill as an apology. Not here. This surprised me and premotes my reluctance on returning.
