“The BBQ sampler and Brisket plate were both excellent. It took a little while for the food to be served, but very much worth the wait. Both the sampler and the brisket plate offered generous portions, prepared perfectly using quality cuts of meat, with very good rubs and BBQ sauce. The included sides were also very nicely flavored and freshly made. A corn bread muffin accompanied each meal. Our server was attentive, friendly and unrushed while at our table. This was our second visit to Slater's and again we were very pleased with everything.“

“Little known (which, I cannot understand) authentic Memphis BBQ restaurant in Sterling MA. The menu offers something for everyone appetizers, BBQ entrees, burgers, kids’ menu, and desserts. Soft drinks, mixed drinks to tap beer from local breweries. I am a big fan of the Loaded Pig Nachos and Burnt Ends. Plenty of seating, kid friendly, outdoor seating, seasonal seating with firepits to keep you warm as the weather gets cooler. The waitstaff is amazing, tentative, knowable, and very friendly. Football partys, birthday partys, get together, Davis BBQ also offers catering… Highly recommend making a trip to Davis BBQ – I am sure it will not be your last. 5 STARS“

“I had a horrible experience tonight at Longhorn’s steak house. I spoke to manager a few weeks to a month ago I let her know that the desert that I love so much the strawberry shortcake was drowned in the strawberry sauce so it was super sweet and not edible that manager who was a female said she was sorry and within a few days she would send me a gift card so I kept looking at my emails coming from Longhorn from my daughter and without realizing it I seen one that came from Longhorn not realizing it was from 2 years ago coming home from work late and being tired and elderly I made the mistake of thinking one of the old gift cards was the new one that should have been sent to me. I place an order and went to Longhorn, it was very crowded and I waited there for over an hour after work the manager that was there 5/9 let me know that she was too busy to be bothered with my problem that actually came from the manager not sending me the promised gift card. A waitress also made a comment to a couple that sat over to the right side that I was a complainer just fussing about something. So I left the restaurant after an hour and a half with a dry mouth no food tired and embarrassed because I was ignored this all happened because a manager said she would send me a gift card and never did. Dry disappointed in the Longhorn and I feel ignored“
