Casa Romero Reviews
Best meal I had in Boston this trip.
my very first visit...the best ceviche I've ever had -EVER...fish was firm, fresh, NOT mushy served with avacado..very nice. The pork with chipotle orange mole was very flavorful..but a little dry (doubt it was TENDERLOIN as menu states) seasoned perfectly. Beverage service could use a little attention...it's OK to charge $18 for a mixed cocktail but the salted rim should be correct and would it be asking too much to put a coaster down rather than have a sloppy puddle on the table....read full review
Very loud. Good food, but a bit overpriced.

Casa Romero is a traditional Mexican restaurant that offers good food and portions, despite the high prices due to its prime location. The decor is cool, with an old school style and a flash of colors, creating a colorful atmosphere. Customers feel like they are at home having dinner with friends. The space can feel cramped and noisy at times, especially during busy nights and weekends, so making a reservation is highly recommended. While some staff may appear stressed, many customers find the service to be good and welcoming.
Menu highlights include the baked cheese with chorizo, chile relleno, enchiladas with mole poblano, and ceviche, along with steak, shrimp, rice, beans, and tortillas. The food is amazing, with a perfect blend of spices, and the drinks are delicious, with the La Passion Margarita being a standout. The sangria and salsa verde are also mentioned as must-tries. Although the quality and quantity of some sides may be lacking, the overall experience is often described as exceptional and delightful, making Casa Romero a hidden gem.
