Staff is friendly but lines bottleneck at cash registers due to poor training. Would patron another option if there were one.
It's a large hospital cafeteria, but a decent one. It has a good variety of foods at prices that are reasonable for a city location.

Eat Street Cafe is the best place to eat in the area, offering cheap, authentic Papa Gino's pizza and great service. The cafeteria at Mass General serves fresh, fair-priced food, with full meals available and delicious hard serve ice cream. With very good food and fast service, including vegetarian options and great choices for kids, it's a spacious and wheelchair accessible spot with plenty of seating.
The prices are reasonable, with $3 slices of Papa Gino's pizza and $3.50 for 2+ toppings. There are various stations with different types of food, like hot foods, paninis, pizza, soups, and grab-and-go options. The Mediterranean bowls station is a favorite, where you can build your own bowl with rice, chicken, falafel, and veggies for under $10. The omelets are exceptional and made to order. While the ambience is classic cafeteria, it's comfortable, though it gets crowded during peak hours. The food is good, and the prices are excellent, making it a solid option for staff, outpatients, and visitors.
