I love this place. You have to come early to get the good stuff. If you come past 12 then it's slim pickings...but I love this place so much that I'll settle for slim pickings ? I didn't even get to take a picture of what I bought cause we already dug into it ?2 hr drive! Yes we're definitely filling our stomach up with this first lol

Three words: nom nom nom. And the lady working the counter was so sweet, really the nicest Chinatown bakery employee I've met (the standard is more cranky curmudgeon, so this was a welcome surprise). I've always passed by this bakery when in Chinatown, because I always figure I can go to one that isn't so close to the gate, and in retrospect I am not sure why I did that. When waiting for my train, I quickly walked over, and bought two pastries (pork bun and egg tart) for less than $5. I was in and out, so I can't comment too much on the service, as I was barely awake, but both the bun and the tart were quite delicious.
