Food options were about average for this type of museum cafe. Definitely look past the bottled drinks as they have cheaper fountain options you get at the register.
Food is cooked well and price quite reasonable. Makes me feel the cafe is not here to make money off us but to provide convenience.
The lady working at river view cafe on June 21, 2024 at 3:30pm was really rude. I don’t understand when people that work in service type jobs are very rude like this. You don’t like people? Ask for a back office job.

There are three booths with different food genres: one with typical fast food and pizza, one with healthy sandwiches and salads, and another offering grilled chicken sandwiches and roasted Brussels. The prices are reasonable, and the cafe boasts a beautiful view of the river, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. The dining room is spacious, accommodating both solo visitors and larger groups. While the traffic flow at the front can be unclear, once figured out, it leads to a smooth experience. The Riverview Cafe is a solid choice for a tasty break during a day filled with museum explorations.
