pad thai and indonesian fried rice with crispy chicken really hit the spot. both were bursting with flavour. definitely one of the better thai food in boston. pad thai is on the sweeter side but i liked that and the noodles were coated well with sauce. shrimp was fresh.

I really like this place. I think people that give negative reviews of this place are expecting too much and or having a bad day.
Small places like this is where the real food is, not high end restaurants.

Rod Thai is a hidden gem in Fenway and easily one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. They serve up delicious, well-priced food with fast, efficient, and friendly service. What’s not to love?
The Indonesian fried rice and spicy crispy chicken are especially good.
