“Tried a few items in the past few weeks and for us the Calzone is better than the pizza ! The vegetable pizza was overdone and dried all out but the calzone is great here! And the subs were pretty good. If your trying the vegan pizza be sure it’s made with some sauce n cheeses . Ours didn’t have it :( and to be fair try a different kind .“

“4 year-old pizza connoisseur approved! I stopped here on a random Thursday for a quick slice. My daughter got the cheese pizza and I got the hot honey pepperoni. The crust is thin and chewy but still crispy on the bottom. The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect. I go to the Cape a couple times a month for work, and I will definitely be back again!“

“Tonight, we spontaneously explored Ella’s Wood Fired Kitchen in Wareham, and I'm thrilled we did. Despite having no reservation, we were promptly seated in a cozy corner near the bar. Our server quickly attended to us, delivering refreshing waters and delightful traditional mules. The highlight was the special pomegranate margarita with reposado and pomegranate simple syrup – truly amazing. For starters, we indulged in fried pork ribs, a Caesar salad with exceptional homemade croutons that had a cheese filling and focaccia with garlic Parmesan oil dip. The generous slices of focaccia were a personal favorite and very easy to pull apart. Moving on to the main course, we savored Chicken Parm, TAGLIATELLE bolognese, the house special surf & turf with scallops, and the WOOD GRILLED NY STRIP OR 6 OZ. FILET MIGNON with smashed fingerlings, roasted onion, shishito peppers, horseradish crema, and chimichurri. The in-house-made pasta added a delightful touch, and the rave reviews for the special surf and turf almost led to a second helping. Unable to resist, we took home pizzas – margarita, three cheese pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. For dessert, we all enjoyed a pistachio toffee cake in a mason jar with pistachio gelato and dulce de leche sauce. “Wow, let me tell you about my experience at the Plymouth Public House. This place is so amazing, so cozy, but yet you’ll have the time of your life like you’re in Miami. Not only is the restaurant and food good (compliments to the chef), but there is a bar tender there, I think her name was Tara, who made the best drinks AND made me so welcomed/ had me dying laughing at everything she said. “I’ve never physically dined at Charlie’s but have gotten delivery a couple of times. My kids and I love their pizza.

I’m sure their other dishes are amazing. Their pizza is certainly delicious. I will say that I had an experience tonight with an unfamiliar delivery driver. I guess he knocked on my door several times before I finally heard him and when I opened the door to greet him he was seemingly agitated. I apologized for not having heard him as I was tending to my kids and he then plainly said “40 bucks”. I handed him the money, already knowing what it costed from prior orders- he rounded up, I digress. As I was shutting the door I heard him say “wow, that’s it?”

I was going to say something but chose to just let it go. Charlie’s is literally a two minute drive to where I live. I understand it’s the holidays however a lot of us are struggling financially and don’t necessarily have the means to be tipping big on a delivery (that was two minutes up the road). I just found it very inappropriate to make a remark like that quite loudly where he knew my door was still open. Like dude I’m just trying to feed my kids while I have some sort of stomach virus.

I did give a call in to let management know, call me a Karen, I don’t care. They were very apologetic and I appreciated that, I knew it wasn’t their fault and I usually would have just let it go but to be that bold about it was uncalled for.“
