“Tonight, we spontaneously explored Ella’s Wood Fired Kitchen in Wareham, and I'm thrilled we did. Despite having no reservation, we were promptly seated in a cozy corner near the bar. Our server quickly attended to us, delivering refreshing waters and delightful traditional mules. The highlight was the special pomegranate margarita with reposado and pomegranate simple syrup – truly amazing. For starters, we indulged in fried pork ribs, a Caesar salad with exceptional homemade croutons that had a cheese filling and focaccia with garlic Parmesan oil dip. The generous slices of focaccia were a personal favorite and very easy to pull apart. Moving on to the main course, we savored Chicken Parm, TAGLIATELLE bolognese, the house special surf & turf with scallops, and the WOOD GRILLED NY STRIP OR 6 OZ. FILET MIGNON with smashed fingerlings, roasted onion, shishito peppers, horseradish crema, and chimichurri. The in-house-made pasta added a delightful touch, and the rave reviews for the special surf and turf almost led to a second helping. Unable to resist, we took home pizzas – margarita, three cheese pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. For dessert, we all enjoyed a pistachio toffee cake in a mason jar with pistachio gelato and dulce de leche sauce. The entire meal was a delight, and our server's kindness and excellent recommendations enhanced the experience. We're eagerly looking forward to returning, perhaps opting for seats at the bar next time. The restaurant's charming decor, candlelit ambiance, and consistently busy atmosphere make it a highly recommended dining spot.“

“Went in tonight for their holiday pop up and so glad we did. We had heard horror stories and then some great reviews and I must say all the horror stories were not true for our visit. We had 4:45 reservations and were seated immediately, it was quite busy but our waitress was over very quickly to take our orders. Food came out fast and the portions were so big. We left stuffed. You guys have this garlic pizza that We can order when we call in it almost looks like garlic bread, cheese sticks, except it’s actually a pizza but if you go online and you try ordering the garlic bread pizza it comes with tomatoes and it’s a circular pizza and then if you try ordering the Cheesy garlic bread, thinking that might be it. You actually get cheesy garlic bread and not their garlic pizza.lol It’s hard to explain, but my son loves it and we’ve ordered it many times. I just don’t know how to order it online. It needs to somehow be fixed. And my second suggestion is the cheeseburger burrito. I think that the cheeseburger shouldn’t actually be two patties stuck inside a wrap if it was broken up with hamburger and cheese on it, then it would be more like an actual burrito. And my last thing is, please make an option to order eggplant pizza online. I can see that one of the calzones has eggplant in it so I know you have it but there’s no option to add it even as a topping on a cheese. Thank you!“

I took my 4-year-old to Alley Kat Lane on March 25th for a much-needed break and some fun. We’ve had a little health scare recently, so we’re making it a priority to keep him active and out of the house. I hadn’t been to Alley Kat in years, so stepping back inside and seeing the updated arcade was exciting—especially because they have some of the coolest and most unique games around. And trust me, we’ve been to a lot of arcades in the area, so we know our games.

We checked the hours beforehand—open until 10 PM. The parking lot was hopping, and you could hear the bowling balls crashing into pins from outside. But when we walked in, disappointment hit fast—the entire arcade was shut down. Just as I was about to give my best “are you kidding me?” face, I asked an employee about their usual closing time. And here’s where the magic happened…

They turned the entire arcade back on. Just. For. Us.

If that isn’t top-tier customer service, I don’t know what is!

Huge shout-out to Lucas, who went above and beyond. Not only did he get everything up and running, but he also took the time to chat with my son about his Venom shirt and favorite superheroes. The prize selection was another major win—no cheap Dollar Tree trinkets here. My son had his heart set on a giant gumball machine (2,000ish tickets), but after going all-in on the claw machines, we came up short. Luckily, they had a smaller but still awesome gumball machine for under 1,000 tickets, complete with gumballs.

Honestly, I can’t wait to go back. Part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem, but places that prioritize real customer experiences over money grabs deserve the recognition. Plus, the candlepin bowling and arcade are separate from the busier lanes, making it a perfect spot for families.

So, if you’re looking for a local spot that’s not just another overpriced, overhyped entertainment center, Alley Kat Lane is it. And to Lucas and the rest of the amazing staff—my son said you made not just his day, but his entire life.

The delivery person told me I should give better instructions. Who the hell are you talking to. Told them I could not have been more clear with instructions Driveway, light will be on. The kicker is I paid on line with my card. I never add a tip online. I always tip with cash. Since my order was left on the ground and driver took off. I had no one to give a tip to. Driver lost out on a tip, but our food as always very good. I will be picking our food up after this. Delivery person very rude needs to take customer service lessons.“

They also have the push device for those in a wheelchair to be able to bowl. They have bumpers for the kids. They also have some special events sometimes.“

“We enjoyed our ice cream stop after visiting the Mayflower ll and the Plymouth Rock. It’s a simple walk to Yogie’s. A nice stop for a treat - sandwiches, burgers, hard and soft serve ice cream, snacks, beverages.
They had tables and umbrellas or benches with a gorgeous view of the boats across the street. Their ice cream servings were sizable and tasty. Make sure you grab a pic with the lobster cut out. 😆“

My takeout order had the smallest amount of cheese coming out of the bottom Brandy made sure to have it re-boxed without my request. Every time I walk in there, I am met with a smile or a hi how are you, it’s so refreshing!
