Ordered the Heavy Hitter and a beer at the recommendation of the waitresses and a friend. It took 35 minutes for it to arrive, but there wasn't an empty seat in the joint, and it was nice to be out of the car.

The Heavy Hitter is a crispy crust pizza with pepperoni, hamburger, ricotta, and hot honey. Amazing. Pepperoni using has me running for the omeprazole, but there was just an accent of pepperoni balanced by the ricotta with a surprisingly sweet finish. Eat it slowly. I'll be back TPL.“

“Tried a few items in the past few weeks and for us the Calzone is better than the pizza ! The vegetable pizza was overdone and dried all out but the calzone is great here! And the subs were pretty good. If your trying the vegan pizza be sure it’s made with some sauce n cheeses . Ours didn’t have it :( and to be fair try a different kind .“

I thought I had checked off vegan cheese, yet upon pick up learned that this was not noted and the pie was made with regular cheese. I asked if they could make me a new one, which they gladly did, but charged me for both pizzas claiming that it was my mistake.“

“We read some reviews and landed on Sandwich Taverna. It was easy to find and no reservations we needed as we visited in late June. It was really windy so we sat inside. It was clean with a chill atmosphere and country music.

We were promptly seated and provided menus. I had the prime rib with mashed potatoes and veggies. My husband had the lasagna and both were very good. They have a full bar and an ok wine selection. Our server was very nice and attentive. Good food good value.“

“Tonight, we spontaneously explored Ella’s Wood Fired Kitchen in Wareham, and I'm thrilled we did. Despite having no reservation, we were promptly seated in a cozy corner near the bar. Our server quickly attended to us, delivering refreshing waters and delightful traditional mules. The highlight was the special pomegranate margarita with reposado and pomegranate simple syrup – truly amazing. For starters, we indulged in fried pork ribs, a Caesar salad with exceptional homemade croutons that had a cheese filling and focaccia with garlic Parmesan oil dip. The generous slices of focaccia were a personal favorite and very easy to pull apart. Moving on to the main course, we savored Chicken Parm, TAGLIATELLE bolognese, the house special surf & turf with scallops, and the WOOD GRILLED NY STRIP OR 6 OZ. FILET MIGNON with smashed fingerlings, roasted onion, shishito peppers, horseradish crema, and chimichurri. The in-house-made pasta added a delightful touch, and the rave reviews for the special surf and turf almost led to a second helping. Unable to resist, we took home pizzas – margarita, three cheese pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. For dessert, we all enjoyed a pistachio toffee cake in a mason jar with pistachio gelato and dulce de leche sauce. The entire meal was a delight, and our server's kindness and excellent recommendations enhanced the experience. We're eagerly looking forward to returning, perhaps opting for seats at the bar next time. The restaurant's charming decor, candlelit ambiance, and consistently busy atmosphere make it a highly recommended dining spot.“

“Go here in between my morning and afternoon jobs. Food is always delicious, and the staff is especially courteous and friendly. Being on vacation it's been hard to find simple food. Every place we went to tried just didn't deliver.
