“Food: I thought the broth rivaled a lot of other popular options in Chinatown/Allston. The spicy options were my favorite and complemented many of the options well. I thought the sauce bar was decent but not as extensive as some other places.
Service: mostly self-serve off an iPad - they won't check up too often.
Atmosphere: I appreciate the lanterns and the booths in the back. Will come out and sing for birthdays too which seems to be popular.
Overall: quality across the menu is great, and the soup bases are possibly my favorite in Boston. Can be a bit more expensive than other AYCE options, but generally worth it for the quality.“

“Had a great time trying out Lamei’s hotpot. We went on a rainy, misty Sunday and tried their all you can eat menu. This is the beat option if you want to try alot of things. We picked two flavors broth. If you want something mild and not spicy, try the mushroom broth. If you don’t like hot spicy, avoid the spicy tallow broth.🥵🥵 you may die as a result of heat. We eat alot of hot spicy but the medium heat level was too much for us.
For meat, we tried everything from chicken, pork, lamb, beef, shrimp, gizzard,
For vegetables, we tried bok choy, a choy, watercress, corn, tofu.“

“Very authentic and satisfying hot pot experience! The broth was flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and the service was friendly and efficient. Great spot in Boston for a cozy meal with friends, especially if you’re craving real Sichuan-style hot pot. Would definitely come back!“

“Spacious and clean restaurant in very convenient location! They only have AYCE options, but they’re fairly affordable, and I appreciate that the most basic/classic option includes seafood like shrimp. Many fountain drinks also included! I personally didn’t have any of these, but I think others would appreciate the egg rolls/fried rice/desserts. We went on a weeknight, and spent about $75 for 2 people after tip.“

“Not sure why it’s not rated higher for the price and hot pot options. We use to live near Spring Shabu in Allston which is fantastic! Tai Xi’s price for unlimited meat and seafood in conjunction with broth choices are wonderful! We always leave satisfied and the service is fast.“

“We got the split broth and the meat/ vegetables were amazing but the best part was definitely the mango smoothie and pork gyoza. The mango smoothie was the best mango smoothie I’ve ever had and the gyoza was very delicious. I can’t wait to go back, definitely a great place for friends/ family to go“

“All you can eat hot pot and dim sum is an absolute steal for the price. The waitress walked us through the process in detail. The kitty robot that delivers your food is adorable. The waitress even helped me identify my favorite boa bun at the end of the meal. What a gem will absolutely be back.“

“Wealth Seafood Restaurant is one of those hidden gems. Not fancy at all. Probably a dozen tables, a few large tables with lazy Susans that allow you to rotate your food and eat traditional Chinese style. Mostly Chinese patrons while I was there. As a non-Asian I felt very welcome. I was with a group that runs a Chinese/Sushi restaurant to celebrate the August Moon. The food was absolutely amazing! We had lobster, crabs, whole sea bass, quahogs, clams in spicy black bean sauce, jelly fish, duck feet, fried pig intestines, salt and pepper fried pork cutlets, salt and pepper fried calamari, salt and pepper fried shrimp, sizzling pig intestines, loofah with Lilly buds and wood-ear mushrooms and seafood soup. I ate some of everything and it was all delicious! I can't wait to go back!! They also stay open late!
Edit: Went back last night and had another amazing meal! A lot of the same I had last time. The new items I had was a 10lb king crab, crab lover mein, huge oysters, geo duck, squab, frog and soy sauce chicken! Everything was amazing!!“

“This was great food. Everything was obviously fresh and high quality. We ordered from the menu, not hot pot, and all the dishes were cooked exactly perfectly. Even the appetizers were clearly cooked with care. And they have a really extensive menu of hot pot items, plus plenty of other dishes. They really care about making the best food and they succeed.“
