Edit: still true regarding the food, and the employees do well with what they have to work with (they apologize when food takes a long time and sometimes offer a free drink) but the lack of AC is unbearable. It was fixed for like a week and now it's down again? I don't mind waiting a bit for my food, but I don't want to wait in a sauna.“

“I ordered online and it said 730 pickup but got to the store and the door is locked with nobody in it. Nobody is answering the phone either so I'm a little confused?Edit: The lady came back about 7 min after and was nice, glad overall.“

“My wife and I stopped in for lunch today after walking a good portion of the Freedom Trail. We were pleasantly surprised at the numerous gluten free option and even more impressed with the quality of the food. The portions were generous as well, and neither one of us was able to finish our meal.

This is a tiny spot in downtown Boston, on Milk and Broad, just a couple blocks from the freedom Trail.

It is a great spot to get away from the heat and humidity and have an incredibly delicious meal that tastes home made.

Stop in and grab some really delicious comfort food, especially if you need gluten free options.“

“Heard about this burger joint...AND I wasn't disappointed, in fact it will probably take me a few months to eat my way through their eclectic menu and no doubt I'll enjoy the ride. Burger was excellent, but the caveat was the cole slaw, NOT your store bought or KFC, this was truly a chef Michelin rated green/purple slaw with an incredible dressing. To top it off, you have to eat the fries.... I didn't ask, but they seemed to be riced then fried...5*****“

“My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!“

“We stopped by here on Halloween needing some fuel for our trip to Salem! It did not disappoint! We were welcomed with smiles and free falafel tasters. It was a Friday special so we had extra falafel with the falafel bowl order too. I ordered the falafel bowl, which was INCREDIBLE! My husband had another bowl which I can't remember what it was called but it had egg in it - he also enjoyed this. There is a small seating area inside and some additional seats on the street. “Stopped for an early dinner on a Friday night, and built my own bowl. The salmon and tuna were very fresh and tasty. The toppings were generous and great quality. Portions were generous. Service was friendly and helpful. Very good experience overall. Would definitely come back again.“
