“I came here last night with my boyfriend for a quick bite to eat before a concert. We put in our order and waited about ten minutes before someone I assume to be the manager came to our table to see what we ordered so he could check on its status. Our order ended up needing a little longer before it would be ready so he gave us a free drink and two free taco coupons for our next visit. I was pleasantly surprised by this because I’ve waited MUCH longer than that at Taco Bell locations near where I live and never received this level of good service. The restaurant itself and the bathroom were very clean which was nice because that’s also never a guarantee these days, especially at chain restaurants.“

“Heard about this burger joint...AND I wasn't disappointed, in fact it will probably take me a few months to eat my way through their eclectic menu and no doubt I'll enjoy the ride. Burger was excellent, but the caveat was the cole slaw, NOT your store bought or KFC, this was truly a chef Michelin rated green/purple slaw with an incredible dressing. To top it off, you have to eat the fries.... I didn't ask, but they seemed to be riced then fried...5*****“

“I came to the Hummus Shop for a quick lunch before heading to a flight.
It’s a fairy hidden place, but there’s a sign on the street — you just have to go down the hallway. It’s a cozy spot with limited seating.
It was my first time here and the person working at the front was very helpful in ordering and walking me through the menu. They have a few main options based on their proteins. I got a pita with the eggplant. It was great!!! They were very flexible in making this vegan by replacing the egg with a couple of falafels.
Great food to go and it was delicious as well, the sauces were especially good. It was messy to eat but that’s what makes it fun!
Would definitely recommend, I hope to be back to try the vegan “chicken” as well.“

“Had a wonderful experience, Carmencita was very sweet and attentive, the food was delicious, definetly recommend the monstruoso and get a side of pineapple sauce with that. would definitely come again, especially when it’s one of the few places open late here in Boston!“

“After leaving the aquarium, I found this incredibly cheap little place with high ratings on both Google Maps and Yelp, so I decided to check it out.
Boomin’ Beef Rendang: This was my first time trying rendang, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but I'm certain it was delicious. It's very similar to a typical Chinese home-style beef brisket stew, just with a subtle touch of coconut milk and curry. The beef was perfectly marbled with fat and lean, stewed until incredibly tender and flavorful; the thick sauce clung to the meat and permeated the rice, making every bite a rich and aromatic experience. The potatoes were soft and tender, and the green beans had a slightly crunchy texture, both perfectly balanced. It's worth mentioning that the meat portion was huge; nearly half-bowl in the picture was completely filled with beef. While it's not anything fancy, it was really satisfying to eat it quickly without worry.
With a coupon from a delivery platform, it only cost $10+, making it excellent value. If you don't mind the ambiance, you can pick it up yourself and eat on the bench outside the restaurant“

“Amazing food and drinks! A small and friendly spot in the heart of Watertown! I highly recommend all the drinks and have not been disappointed trying the multiple slush drinks. Be sure to add your favorite toppings. My new favorite place in Watertown for a good sandwich and drink to pick up and go to the local park to eat! Do not miss out on this local spot!“

“Birdies Hot Chicken is a locally owned spot that has quietly built one of the stronger reputations for fried chicken in the Boston area, and the tenders are where that reputation is easiest to understand.
The chicken comes out juicy and well crusted, with a batter that stays crispy without being thick or greasy, and the seasoning underneath does more work than most hot chicken spots bother with. The heat is the headline but the flavor is what keeps you coming back, and the two are balanced well enough that even at higher spice levels the chicken still tastes like something rather than just burning.
The spice levels are worth taking seriously. The extra hot is genuinely challenging and rewarding in equal measure if you have the tolerance for it, but the mid-range levels give you enough of the flavor profile to understand what the kitchen is doing without requiring a recovery period afterward.
The seasoned fries are a natural companion and hold up well alongside the tenders, and the sliders are worth knowing about if you want to build out a larger order across a few different formats.
The restaurant is clean and comfortable with a good energy and staff that moves quickly without making the experience feel transactional. For halal hot chicken in downtown Boston that takes both the heat and the flavor seriously, Birdies is the spot to know about.“

“Honestly good for a Taco Bell.
Edit: still true regarding the food, and the employees do well with what they have to work with (they apologize when food takes a long time and sometimes offer a free drink) but the lack of AC is unbearable. It was fixed for like a week and now it's down again? I don't mind waiting a bit for my food, but I don't want to wait in a sauna.“
